24: Season 7: Episode 5 (12:00noon - 1:00pm)

I don’t think the clock was completely silent. I heard very faint breathing sounds.

Sorry Asimovian. This show hasn’t made much sense since Season 4… actually, since Season 3 (A murderer tries to blackmail…, no extort the president. Her leverage? Evidence that she killed someone. Worst bluff ever, and only feasible if everyone involved is stupider than a box of rocks). But I still need my Velvet fix.

Yep, that’s the second-best option. The only problem is that 6 days is long enough for General Crazypants’ regime to commit a fairly extensive genocide. The death toll could easily reach horrific levels (100,000+?).

This is 24, where cellphones always work. On this show, Jack Bauer could be on a submarine and he’d still have cell reception.

Garofalo is not eye candy on this show. She has that Lindsay-Wagner, I-haven’t-slept-in-a-week look going. What’s up with her?

I regretfully have to agree with you. I mean, I’m sure it’s somewhat intentional, but she just seems poorly cast. I keep secretly hoping she’s going to have to go “undercover” in a slinky dress at some point. Please don’t ruin my dream.

Resisting urge to check her IMdB page, which would list which 24 eps she will actually be in this season…

Agent Walker spoiler…

She’s listed for all 24, it seems

I know people love to talk about how there are always moles in 24, but really, it’s only about half the seasons.
Season 1: Nina and “The Mandible”
Season 2: None.
Season 3: None.
Season 4: Dina.
Season 5: There were sort of moles, but it was just a big plot with the president himself. I don’t consider a whole “team” of traitors to be the same as a mole.
Season 6: See season 5, but not with the president, just a lot of other people.

Well, Season 2 had Gael as a fake mole and then Jack as a fake mole.

The rest just plain blur…

Season 3, you mean. Which I enjoyed more than anyone else, it seems. I’ll agree that season 1 or 2 is the best (I’ll admit I’ve never finished season 1…) but season 2 had the “Misadventures of Kim Bauer” that seriously distracted from the main plot. Season 3 was more consistent, plus I liked the bad guy

I thought the mole in season 4 was Marianne. Wasn’t Dina the terrorist’s wife?
