One of the rioters was carrying zipties.

Brit Hume is a douchnozzle and now a terrorist sympathizer.

Pence doing it by the book – give him that much credit.

Michigan objection knocked down.

somewhere above in the 1200 posts. Rioters had zip ties. And there is this Atlantic article. Maybe that was linked to above, can’t keep up

Looks like they might get through this in one sitting, if some of the old farts can stay awake long enough. It would not have gone so smoothly were it not for Trump’s seditious goons suddenly bringing a sense of bipartisan unity.

Is there an official form that state electors have to use to send their vote count to Congress, or do they just do it any way they want to?

Some were carrying zip ties which suggested hostage taking.

Not sure about show trials (they’d need media to cooperate which seems a long shot but then clear thinking is not a hallmark of these people).

The expected PA objection won’t be as long because supposedly no one is planning on using the two hours of speech time. They will go straight to a vote.

Nevada objection

And denial in 3…2…1…

I haven’t been following, but the 6pm curfew was fitting. The old, obese, protesters would be loading up in their $80k pickups and heading to the golden coral anyways

Holy Snot Rockets!
Yalls FAST tonight, or my connection is slow.
She barely got done saying there was no senator signature when I popped back to this tab to comment and … wow! Was I too late

Or going to the bar at whatever Days Inn they’re staying at.

A few hours ago:

I predict that when Trump gets his Twitter account back - and he probably won’t have it for long- he’ll start pushing the conspiracy theory that Antifa infiltrators were responsible for the violence, and calling for martial law.

This will be the final test for what I call the “wavering class” of Trump supporter. He’ll always have his kids and his crazies, like Flynn. But will Meadows stick with him? Pompeo? That scrawny blonde?

Tough call, because I have another theory. These guys desperately need preemptive pardons. Because they’re going to uncover a mind-blowing amount of fraud and grift - why do you think Trump worked so hard to put his own people in key positions and disable oversight? I’m predicting there were lots of contracts issued to cronies without the legally required oversight. I’m betting he was padding the salary of key advisors by paying them additional money as consultants. It’s going to be explosive.

Yes, I’m speculating again. I’m into financial crime. I’ve also read lots of books about the Trump White House, and I read all the whistleblower reports. The signs are there. Trump expressed a general dissatisfaction with the legally mandated government salaries complaining they needed to offer more to get the people they wanted - then sometimes they’d end up getting those people. Plus, paying kickbacks via shady consulting firms is something that happened a lot in Trump circles.

Rick Bright ( a doctor with an agency working on the pandemic, don’t remember which one) complained about the unbid and unvetted contracts issued to cronies. If it happened in one agency it probably happened everywhere.

How are some objections denied while others have to do the vote thing like AZ?

They have to have objections from both a Senator and a member of the House, and none of the Senators is signing on.

I resent that this administration has turned me into the sort of old person who stays up to watch the certification of the electoral votes.

need at least one member and one Senator to be entertained. If it’s just members of the Representatives, cannot be entertained.
