I don’t know much either, but I gather that a dishonorable discharge is reserved for more serious crimes (murder etc), and is given only after a military court martial.
They’ll probably get “Other Than Honorable Discharge” (OTH) They probably won’t get a Bad Conduct Discharge (BCD) as this must be given via court martial as well.
Wonder if that takes away any military benefits. Pension, VA etc.
I understand (from Wikipedia) that “Veterans with an OTH discharge and considered “Honorable for VA purposes” may still apply for the full enrollment in the VA.”

This is why, as elated as I am that Trump has finally been indicted for the documents case, I sincerely hope Mr. Smith has Jan. 6 indictments in the works. Not necessarily for Trump – although he certainly deserves them – but also for the co-conspirators in his administration and in Congress.
They may not be traitors in the legal sense, but they have betrayed their country and deserve every penalty the law can apply.
I have been reading analysis that said that the pressure campaign on Mike Pence,was also illegal, and is worthy of being looked into by the special council.

So I gather the fake electors must now testify, and they can’t invoke the 5th, because Smith removed the possibility that they will incriminate themselves.
And if they lie, they can be charged with perjury.
And they are not sure what other evidence Smith has, so they dare not lie.
And if they now refuse to testify, they can be charged with contempt and jailed.
Perhaps it’s time for them to start talking about who was behind the fake electors scheme.
