There’s a current story out there about how this guy faked a drug overdose when he was recaptured. The story (only seen on twitter so far) claims that he maintained the lie for a 5 day hospital stay.
I have questions. I have a lot of questions.
As will a Federal judge.
This is interesting. A man named Samuel Lazar, who participated in the Jan 6th insurrection, apparently had all records of his conviction sealed, with any requests for information by the press rebuffed.
It was a big mystery, which has now been solved: He’s been cooperating with the Feds. I wonder what he was telling them that required so much secrecy. He can’t have been the only guy who was helping them.
I assume the secrecy was for his protection.
Two small notes:
Christopher Worrell, whose disappearance sparked a six-week manhunt just before being sentenced, has received 10 years. Not too shabby. Former Proud Boy involved in Jan. 6 who went on the run sentenced to 10 years in prison - ABC News
And Harry Dunn, a former Capitol Police officer, is running for Congress. Good for him. Harry Dunn, Capitol Police officer on Jan. 6, announces run for Congress - ABC News
Not that he won’t try: Why Trump can't use the 'idiot' defense other Jan. 6 defendants often do
“Of course he called himself a ‘very stable genius’, that’s the sort of thing an idiot would say.”
That argument might be hard to refute.
Huh. The description of one of the Jan 6 defendants seems to fit the modern Republican voter to a tee:
“he does not have sufficient ability to independently manage the basic language and literacy demands of life in a complex society,” that he “lacks sufficient ability to make responsible decisions for himself,” , and that he is at high risk for “manipulation and being taken advantage of by others,”
Three years after the death of Capitol rioter Ashli Babbitt, her family has initiated a lawsuit for $30M claiming wrongful death.
I think this warrants a separate thread
‘Stop, or I’ll shoot!’
‘I’m not stopping!’
[Shoots]
Sadly, she didn’t understand that Reality™ isn’t an Action movie.
“B-b-but, she really believed she was in the right!”
Well… She was stupid.
Poor girl didn’t deserve to get shot, it’s not as though she was insurrecting while Black.
If there’s a legitimate claim to be made, shouldn’t it be against the America-hating fuckstick?
To be clear, I’ve started a separate thread for discussing it. You might like to post any further comments there.
Link?
It’s in my previous post.
The FBI got a three-fer over the weekend. Kind of them to group up like that, makes things easier.
The Three MAGAteers!
All for Trump and Trump for himself!
