7 Jan 2021 and beyond - the aftermath of the storming of the Capitol

My bold.

I agree completely. This Republican BS that says, “Joe said he would be bipartisan and work for unity but he won’t give in and knuckle under to our demands wah-wah-wah” makes me gag. To them bipartisan means he does it our way and we don’t give up anything. The Democrats have got to go it alone because time is short. Not that any amount of time would move these obstructionist hypocrites. The majority is slim, but for God’s sake use it! The Dems may not get another chance.

The Pubs certainly used their slim majority to their advantage. Chief among their ‘wins’ were 3 SCOTUS justices.

Good news, everyone!

He might be a cat. You never know.

Google has failed me. What does “UFN” mean?

Bingo.

Me-OW!

Here’s some related aftermath:

The conservative court has had a LOT to do with the radicalization of the Republican party.

“Money is speech.”

One dollar one vote. It’s right there in the Constitution.

Whew, Christopher Wray just got his ass scorched by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse.

Holy cow. Delicious to see it.

Do you have a link? From what I’ve read Wray clearly denied that leftist were involved in the January 6th insurrection. So what are you talking about?

I haven’t seen a link to the whole thing yet, but here’s a portion.

If that wasn’t bad enough, among those advising delay was one Gen. Charles Flynn. If that name sounds familiar, his brother is Michael Flynn.

So, in short, the rules were changed to make it harder to stop a coup that happened to start the next day. What an amazing coincidence.

From fiveyearlurker’s link: "…Flynn advised at one point during the afternoon that deploying troops would not be “good optics.”

I guess not all optics are created equal.

Wonder if he gets government cheese with that whine?
