7 Jan 2021 and beyond - the aftermath of the storming of the Capitol

He’s just using the same tactics as his Dear Leader: whine and complain that it’s not fair. He probably considers himself to be the most persecuted white nationalist in history. Nobody has had it worse than him.

Dozens of rioters have been released pending trial, a result of lower-level offenses that federal judges have said are non-violent, and therefore not worthy of detention. That fact seems to irk Barnett, who unloaded on Thursday about how “everyone else who did things much worse are already home” before accusing prosecutors of delaying his hearings.

You say that some of those people who only got charged with minor offenses are actually guilty of “things much worse”? Do tell! Just start naming names, and maybe you’ll be able to get a better deal from the Feds…

He should have known better than to keep a leopard for a pet.

Well, this explains why certain Republican members of congress were so curious about whether the FBI was able to track communications from the rioters trying to overthrow the government.

" Federal investigators are examining records of communications between members of Congress and the pro-Trump mob that attacked the US Capitol, as the investigation moves closer to exploring whether lawmakers wittingly or unwittingly helped the insurrectionists, according to a US official briefed on the matter.

The data gathered so far includes indications of contact with lawmakers in the days around January 6, as well as communications between alleged rioters discussing their associations with members of Congress, the official said."

Did anything happen today?

Is Donnie president again? <gag>

As near as I can tell, they said ‘it’s a trap!’ and made the new date March 20.

Don’t ask me why March 20.

It’s the 100-year anniversary of the Upper Silesia plebiscite, obviously.

Lest anyone thinks he is making that up.

They say March 20 was chosen because it’s the 167th anniversary of the Republican Party’s founding. But I suspect that excuse might be a false flag, and Cervaise’s reason is the true one.

And not that I want to cast any doubt on March 20, but the man who reported that date also says Trump is still in charge of the military, and there’s a clause in the constitution that says power doesn’t transfer until March 20, and even though an oath might be taken on the 21st, the oath was actually taken on the 20th. And something about Spain and the Pope.

And when that fails to materialize, they go to April 20th, in honor of their dearest leader’s birthday.

George Takei?
Joey Lawrence?
Carmen Electra?

Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, CA-19, put together a near 2,000-page social media review of:

It’s quite a damning document. Jim Jordan, for example, stopped all social media activity at 2pm, 1
6.21, and didn’t resume for 6 days.

Excellent link, John, thank you.

I don’t know why this surprised me. It seemed like it should have been a guaranteed likelihood.

An actual politically-appointed staffer, still “on the job” with the Trump administration, was one of the more violent assailants in the Capitol attack

Only the best people.

Another promise kept.

I’m sure it helped him get the job in the first place.

Another whiner.
