A-choo! The MMP

Posting from the job fair. I’ve got 6 interviews scheduled this afternoon between 11:30 and 3. Should be interesting. I was the 3rd person here this morning when I got here at 5:30. The two before me got here at 4:30. We were all standing out there in the 20 degree weather. Thankfully they opened the doors and let us wait inside at 6.

Two loads on the line, one in the washer. Hanging wet clothes when the temp’s in the 30s is hard on the fingers! I’m wearing a pair of texting mitts, but I can’t wear gloves - I need my fingers free.

C’mon spring!!!

I’d go to the fire ant festival if the organizers were tied nekkid to fire ant beds and covered in honey. I’d pay to see that. The organizers shouldn’t mind doin’ that to entertain me bein’ as they just lurve fire ants so much.

Ok, I know, I know, back to irk bear.

swampy, I’m pretty sure the organizers aren’t interested in your kinks… :stuck_out_tongue:

We’ve got a guy coming over this afternoon to discuss moving our shed. Yay!!

I’m just sayin’ that since they lurve them some fire ants, they should be willin’ to give the fire ants a tasty treat.

Inventive ways to kill fire ants would also be a fun thing I’d go to see.

Laundry is done. Lunch has been ingested. I need to get down to my studio, but we’ve got the shed guy coming… sometime… How motivated am I?? hmmmmmmm

If she was stil around, my mother would be 77 today. RIP, Mom.

On a much happier note, my only blood nephew, Zach, turned 22 today also. My mother was tickled to share a birthday with one of her grandsons, and shares the month with both.

I followed the link. They have a “fire ant calling contest” ?? How do they manage that?

Still raining here. The forecast seems to think it will keep up through Sunday. It isn’t raining very hard, so I won’t complain.

Shed guy is on the way. Yay! I was just about to start getting messy in my studio, so his call was well-timed.

Here fire ant! Here boy! Yo! Fire ant! Heck, maybe they have a fire ant signal.
Stoopid fire ants!

N.O.L. has been ingested. Now back to irk. ICK!

They probably use smoke signals, being Fire Ants, and all. :dubious:

Shed Guy has come and gone. We’ve hired him to do the new foundation and move the shed from where it is to where we want it. Now we’ve got to empty all the crap from the shed - some will be trashed, some will be yardsaled, some will be kept. Time will tell what ends up where…

Meanwhile, I’m gonna go play in clay.

Good lord. Why did I sign up for 6 interviews? I’ve got one left and my brain may explode first.:smack:

Break time!!! I threw 6 spoon rests… actually, I threw 8, but I killed 2 and had to remake them. I just brought in all the laundry and folded it. The towels are put away, the rest is in a basket on the bed… So I’m having some sugar-free cherry gelatin.

Supper will be sketties because it’s easy.

It’s been a productive day. Yay!

Howdy from da cave! I removed my foil hat and ended up at Harvey’s to buy a rotissed chikin. I also bought a bag of N.O.T. tots, frozen peas 'n carrots and some rolls. All of this will transform into an easy dindin. Oh, and I bought some ground beast to make into burgers for tomorrow.

Irk, well, irk was.

Laterz!

Hi everybody,

Two long days at irk after two weeks of tour = Blurfity blurf blurf

Jim

Dindin was good. Been a long time since we had N.O.T. tots so they were kind of like a treat.

Glad you made it back Jim.

Glad you got home safely, Jim!!

I think it’s time to get back to afghaning. I’s tahred… Sketties were OK. **FCD **is snoring on the couch.

Lazy night ahead!

MWAH!

I may soon go snuggle up on the bed and watch teevee just cause. Sounds like an excellent plan.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

swampy. My maternal grandparents lived in Ashburn or Sycamore which is Turner County. We used to visit often.

Home from a long day at irk. A long week. But tomorrow is Firday TGIF.

I hope all the sickies feel better soonest.
