A Circusless MMP

Maybe I will go back. This is Bruiser:

I used to think all tiny dogs were yappy rat dogs. But after meeting a lot of them at the dog park I realized it’s all socialization.

Cupcakes go and meet him and see what you think. Seems like you’re wondering. Might as well find out instead of thinking “what if…”

baker, most adult dogs at the shelter are housebroken. Some are even crate trained. Bruiser looks like a handsome fellow. Of course, I’m partial to chihuahuas.

The shelving unit and totes in the laundry room are done. I swung around the Goodwill donation with a bunch of picture frames and such (I should have done the laundry room before the thrift store guys came). The last of the lettuce and the first ripe tomato was harvested from the garden. I took a little nap afterwards.

The Lao new year festival was fun. The plate we got at my friend’s booth was yum! We did bug out when the rain started to come down though.

CupCakes Bruiser is just way too cute! Just think of all the adorin’ aunts and uncles he’ll have flung all over teh intartoobz!

Bruiser.
Jesus, Mary, and Joe Cocker.

In my experience, most adult dogs come already house trained. They may have a few accidents at first because of being nervous. I’d take them out a lot the first couple of days

I took in a lot of strays and had dogs dumped in my yard when I lived in the city, and all of them were house broken when I got them.

Aw, look at him all dressed up for his photo shoot.

Go get him Baker. My precious HRH lucky louie was 18 months old and was housetrained. And pick me he did. I called his grandma after seeing an ad for a free chihuahua and said I’d like to meet him. Before I got there she had already called my office. That’s when i found out her name was my first name. When we got to her house she had a whole pascal of dogs and handed me a little bag of kibble and pointed him out and he ran and jumped in my arms and the rest is history. And he is not yappy at all.

Lazy day with nappaged involved. Tomorrow, I shall try to do my chores so I can have a peaceful holiday on Moanday.

Baker, I loves me some wiener dogs too, but that little chap just might be the one for you.

Red, you did the right thing on the china, but wanna bet that there will be family drama when she finds out your gave away “HER” china?

Lawn mowed this morning and nappage accomplished this afternoon. Went out for my weekly “two grilled ham-n-cheese with crinkle cut french fries and sweet tea” dinner that I have every week at a family-run restaurant. May try a new place tomorrow for Sunday Dinner. It’s a “meat and three” and they have meatloaf on the menu for Sunday and since Logan’s Roadhouse dropped their meatloaf I’ve been looking for a replacement.

I worked. We were busy. And the dealers must have gotten a new shipment of weed. I almost got a buzz just being downwind of the one guy.

My last day off was Tuesday. My next day off is Thursday.

I really wanted another beagle. I ended up with Gordie. Go meet Bruiser, you might fall in love.

metal mouse, I doubt seriously that she will start any drama. She’s moved around enough in her life to realize that sometimes things just have to go.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Two of our dogs were adult adoptees - OK, really one adoptee and one foundling literally taken in off the street. No problem with housebreaking other than figuring out their “I wanna go out” signals. Both were much easier to deal with than the new puppy.

The neighbors were having a party outside last night, and I had to close the window on my side since it faces their yard. They weren’t rowdy or anything, but the music sure was loud. On the plus side, I think they turned it off before 10 - either that or I just went unconscious and didn’t hear it.

Today is laundry day. Dunno if we’ll do anything else - it depends on how my sweetie is feeling. He was hurting pretty bad yesterday. I pulled out a meatloaf for supper, and that’s all I’ve planned. Whatever happens happens.

Happy Sunday!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Happy Sunday!

It’s a foggy 58 degrees outside, supposed to go up to 75 today.
We didn’t get the flowers planted yesterday, so we’ll do it today.

I’m up too early but I’m up. I’d rather not be since I was up past midnight last night.

Cupakes, I think Bruiser is cute and you should go check him out.

I have no idea why I am being dumb and getting a puppy. They are so much work and I said I’d never get a puppy again. I also said I’d never get another shar pei because of all the health issues. Then again, I said I’d never get another dog.
I miss the wrinkled face, and I like their aloofness. So this one will probably outgrow all its wrinkles and be a goof ball.
I still haven’t told my son we are getting one. It can be a surprise.

How are you doing with quitting cigarettes, Butters?

I think I will go lay back down for a bit.
Then it’s back to irk.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 70 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 91 and mostly N.O.S. for the day although some rain may show up. Or not. TWPTB are bein’ willy-nilly today. The big plan is to deheathenate and have N.O.L. I have a hunk of beast in the slow cooker. I envision that along with bacon wrapped asparagus and rice 'n gravy. We may or may not have some quality cee-mint pond time this afternoon. If’n it does decide to remain cloudyish then probably not.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Good morning all. The thunder-boomers finally showed up here just as I was going to bed, so it took a little longer than usual to fall asleep (but the light show was impressive). Up now and reading the Sunday funny papers (no, not the news, the actual color comics).

More rain is in the forecast for today and most of the next week. Oh joy.

Played in a concert last night  Lots of work, but with some time for a few shenanigans. Good times all around.

Howdy Y’all! Home from deheathenization. ‘Twas a nice service as usual. I like hangin’ with the Luteruns from time to time. I shall finish up makeage of N.O.L. shortly and then who knows.

Midget shenanigans are fine as long as they don’t lead to tomfoolery.

I went back to bed, now I feel like crap.
However, the chicken I was supposed to make yesterday is in the oven and the flowers have been planted.

The sun came out for a bit, but then the rains came. The front postage stamp needs mowing but it is way too wet out there for that. If it wasn’t for the damned dandelions the yard wouldn’t look so shabby. There’s some kind of ground cover growing out there too, something with tiny yellow flowers. Maybe we should just pull up the grass and weeds and let the ground cover take over.
