Happy Mother’s Day to everybody! {{{Mumper Moms}}} I hope HRH feels better soon, Dotty. Snotty toddlers are always frustrating as well as pitiful, aren’t they?
It’s a quiet day around the Tiger household. Well, except for Hank Hill across the street mowing his yard. And trimming his yard. And running the blower. And then trimming some more. And blowing some more. For the third time this week. Actually, it’s three times every week.  Silly me, I never knew lawns needed mowing every other day. How could I be so ignorant?
I don’t know about anybody else, but I’m definitely playing the Mom Card today! Okay, okay, I did have to finish up about 10 minutes of the job I didn’t quite get done last night, but that took no time at all, and so the rest of the day I will be assuming the knitting position and working on these Cookie A socks for the Ravelry KAL. I think I might even be able to get the first sock completely done today, knock wood. and then, because I’m a good girl, I’m going to go finish the 2nd sock of another pair that I have in progress (otherwise known as a UFO, an UnFinished Object) before I go back and do the second KAL sock – just to make myself get the other ones done! Otherwise I’d just do the KAL socks and the heck with everything else!
It is a simply scrumptuously beautiful day here today. 70°F, nice breeze, clear sky, warm sunshine, green leaves…perfect! Papa Tigs took Isaac for a swim early this morning, so now Isaac is crashed for the rest of the day. He’s been hiding here in my office for the last few hours just to make sure Papa Tigs doesn’t notice him and make him go exercise some more.
He’s a TAHRED puppy!
I’ve already heard from my wonderful daughter; we’ll see what happens with my little rat of a son.
I’ll call my mom in a bit, after she’s all done with churchification, since she’s not a heathen like I am. And I’ll maybe even call my sister later, but it has to be a lot later because her church shares a building so she goes to church on Sunday afternoon. That’s real devotion, if you ask me – I always thought Sunday afternoons were for eating and vegging!
Okay, off to enjoy my day.
