My foot hurts. My back hurts. My entire left side is on strike today.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a cool 49 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 81 and sunny. Makes it hard to decide what to wear. Yestiddy I chose a long sleeved shirt and a light jacket which was great. The jacket was not needed after ten in the mornin’ and I got kinda warm in the long sleeved shirt in the afternoon. I shall try a short sleeved shirt and a light jacket today and see how that goes. Such problems! Woe is me!
StickyBuns yay for gettin’ that appointment. Appropriate/inappropriate appendages shall be crossed.
Sorry for all the hurties BooFae and Spaz.
Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alack and alas, irk purtification must commence. I need to see a couple folks in the near north forty, meanin’ they are closer to me from da cave than the orifice, so I shall start out my day with that. Thus, I don’t need to leave da cave ‘til close to eight this mornin’.
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
Happy Tooooooooooosday
Irk is very slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. I do get to go see my irk friend direct her acapella chorus tonight for friends and family before they are off to contest later in the month and am looking forward to it.
Higgs let us sleep till 6:30 this morning. Good doggie! I just finished an egg sammich breakfast, and shortly, I will hit the shower. We’re starting the day at the gym since we didn’t go yesterday. Our workout was shed-emptying - that worked a lot of muscles!
Today, we have to remove the overhang from the back of the white shed. We won’t be storing anything there and it’ll allow us to get the shed set back farther in the trees. So yay! But there’s a lot of crap on the ground behind the shed and that could be troublesome, so boo. We’ll see how it all works. I anticipate some bloodshed and a few boo-boos. And that will be foolish enough for today.
Happy Tuesday!
Oh yeah - your shoe’s untied!
Blurf.
Rode my bike to irk today, and 'twas a tad nippy this morning. Should be gorgeous around quit o’clock, however.
Behind you!
Given that we crossed the streams yesterday morning, resulting in there being three MMPs, should we close this thread & start a MMP pt2 or a TMP thread in it’s place?
Happy Toosday!
It’s a sunny 40 degrees outside with a high of 61 predicted.
Today is pizza day and laundry day and I hope go look at some houses day. I’m in a better mood about it but we will see. I guess i should get up and get ready as though I am going to go and if that plan falls through I’ll just bop over to my friends house and we’ll do lunch or something.
Doggio Mining the front yard is an option, and no worries for Sah-dog, he can mine the back yard.
Maybe it’s just as well I don’t move in next door to a cemetery, Sah-dog snores loud enough to wake the dead.
FCM I started checking out Indian Head last night but was too sleepy to remember much. Going to check it out again today.
Sah-sons father worked in Indian Head. I think that was the bowling alley job.
One day one of my friends called him at the bowling alley.
She asked him if he had 10 pound balls.
He said yes, of course
So she said, doesn’t that make it hard to walk?
Phones were a lot more fun before Caller ID.
Well, this explains why so many of the houses for sale in Indian Head have unit numbers
Still not feeling well enough to go to work today.

Back from the gym and I guess I can’t avoid it any longer. Off to work in the yard - we’ve got to finish prepping the shed for tomorrow’s move. rah.
I’m usually not that gullible, but I have been taken in by 3 so far:
Clothes for Cats
Pluto is back in the line up
and
a new edition from Rosetta Stone.
I’m impressed. They get better every year.
GMA had a “story” about a twitter helmet that you could wear and “peck” out your tweets. The anchors couldn’t even keep straight faces while “reporting.”
The shed has been de-roofed - that is, the addition on the back is gone. It didn’t take any cutting - we just removed the supports and it fell. It was partially rotted and half of the shingles fell off. We will have to cut it up to take to the dump - it’s 16’ long - a bit much to handle and twice as long as our trailer. We also raked the debris from the area where the shed will be going and drove in stakes to mark where we want it to sit. In theory, the guy will be here tomorrow to put in the crush concrete base, then set the shed upon it.
We’re going to paint it gray - to match the siding on the back of the house - and the trim will stay black. We need to replace the fascia board in the back and some shingles need to be replaced. We’re also going to take down some of the shelves inside and make racks for the various garden tools. **FCD **needs to build a ramp at the door so we can drive the mower and the mulcher/vac inside. And I’ve got a bunch of stuff to plant on either side of the ramp. Oh yeah, and we’ve got to route power from the red shed to the white one. Still lots to do…
Not to mention at least 4 dump runs. Whew!
Too much fiber?

I can hardly breathe, stoopit allergies.

An interesting news item, Jim.
I am shocked! Shocked, I tell you!!!
Lesson learned - my grubby sneakers hold a LOT of dirt in the treads, and it lets loose as I walk around the kitchen making lunch. What a mess! So I swept it up, took off my shoes, and promptly walked thru drips on the floor left by a certain pug who just had a drink.
The whole world’s against me!!! * <woe woe woe>*
Six out of ten died, ay caramba, by airborne plague. That equals five million in modern day London.
I feel the need to get out my plague mask.

Someone honked at me just a minute ago to turn right onto a main road. I waved at them to say thank you. And the passenger gave me the middle finger. I’m like what the heck! I wasn’t even saying anything bad. And then this woman in a passenger seat gets rude. So I sped up and I asked them to roll down their window. The woman again gave me the middle finger. I’m like okay we’re going to clear this up on right now. So I got the guy who was driving to rolled down his window. I said I’m sorry but I did not give her the middle finger and apologize if I upset you but I didn’t do anything wrong. The guy goes okay thank you. I really hope the woman who was sitting next to him feels really bad now for being so rude for no reason. People really need to chill out when they’re driving. This world would be a much better place if we’re all just considerate of others and not quick to jump to conclusions. Good bless the moronic for they know not what they do.
N.O.L. has been et and da bear is still immersed in paperirk. On the plus side, today bein’ April 1st, the no tie rule is in effect until September 1st at the orifice. YAY!!! I don’t mind ties, really, but I don’t mind goin’ without 'em either.
Oh, and, you’re socks are on the wrong feet!
