Good morning! I’ll be having a wee bit more time before work. The back gate on the base, which is the closest one to where I work, is only open for limited hours, including 3-5 in the afternoon. I left a bit before 3 and had to drive all the way around the runways to the main gate yesterday. So I’ve decided to alter my start time in order to be done at 3. That gives me an extra 15 minutes or so at home, so Surf’s Up! 
My sweetie made me a tool bag last night. Yesterday, I was taking teensy little screws out of a small assembly, and the screwdriver they gave me was pretty much a piece of crap. Now I’ll have a few decent implements to do my job. So yay.
Today is First Friday in Leonardtown and we’re going to go. I understand they have music and booths and food on the square, and it’s going to be gorgeous and cool today, so we’re going to check it out. But first I have to get thru today. Rah.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 and ONLY a ten percent chance of rain. It did rain last night after I mowed so yay for that. Today should be good to get da back yahd mowed, which does not take long bein’ as it contains three storage buildin’s and a cee-mint pond.
Ok, that’s all I got. Gonna go purtify for irk in a few and then go meet OYKW for a bizkit at MickeyD’s before irk just cause.

Good morning!
Today we have an in-service day. Hopefully it will be riveting so as to keep us all awake. After that I’m going to Verizon to get the phone numbers switched between my phone and my mom’s phone as mine has a minor issue that wouldn’t effect her usage since she talks on the phone for less than 10 minutes per month (mostly she plays games on her phone). I had hoped to get a new phone but my contract isn’t up until January and the price difference is around $300-$400 more to get a phone now instead waiting. So, this solution will suffice.

Blurf. Last night’s PT kicked my ass, and I seem to have slept wrong on my neck, because that hurts, too. But it’s Friday. Which wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to go to a damned bridal shower tomorrow. I really hate bridal showers. I wasn’t going to go because it’s not just a shower, it’s a shower in the city, which means it’s a whole day of trains and/or buses and/or subways and if my mother weren’t making a special trip up for it, I would totally skip it.

Been an interesting morning. Are you familiar with Curtis Dowling? Treasure Detectives We’ve been emailing back and forth much of the morning, nice guy, very polite and professional. I have an art piece that needs authenticating and he’s very keen to take on the task and was explaining his process, resources, research, scientific analysis, etc. I just may have to start watching his show. 
We’ll see where it goes and I’ll post if anything comes of it.

There was a time in my life when I’m fairly certain I would have gleefully taken a hit or two off a muffler-bong. When you’ve already spent the majority of an evening making a Nerf football cannon out of a Pringles can, some lighter fluid, and a stick of incense, a muffler seems like a great idea. I was always a fan of soda containers for a quick improvised smoke–can-pipes are fast and easy, provided you have something to poke a hole with (always helpful if somebody’s wearing a belt), and a two-liter bottle was the preferred material for gravity bongs.
But I’m totally past that, now. I’m a grownup, dammit. Mostly.
Oh the memories, wait how can I remember that, I was stoned.
