Hello mumpers! I have made it as far as Banff without crashing the car, going the wrong way or getting eaten by bears. That counts as a pretty successful trip! Today will be spent exploring the town and not driving anywhere because I deserve a day off. Tomorrow I will be dropping the car off and visiting a friend for the night before getting a flight to Victoria, that is why I deserve a rest day!
Found the margarita bar last night too, that kept me occupied for a while.

Howdy from da cave. I put a roast beast in the slow cooker along with new N.O.T. and carrots before headin’ over to the church house last night. This along with butterbeans is tonight’s dindin. YUM!
I envision mowage of at least the front yahd this evenin’ provided the rain holds off. Don’t know if’n it’ll rain at da cave but it’s been rainin’ all around so the possibility exists.

Dindin is et and da front yahd has been mowed. Da bear is showered. OYKW is yet again at his place dealin’ with irk paperirk poor thing. This weekend, however, has been declared a no irk related weekend. We shall feast upon deli delights, lounge around the cee-mint pond and imbibe adultlike beverages. Sounds like a plan to me!
I’ve always been amazed that the camera used to take that picture didn’t melt.
Survived another day at work, thankful this is a temp position, because the woman I’m working with - Ms. Vanilla Folder - would make me crazy in the long term. Or I might kill her to prevent a long term. I’ll just keep my eye on 3-6 months from now.
