It feels like it should be Friday.

You need to cut down on your blurfing, already. :dubious:
Morning all,
I actually had irk to do at irk, imagine that!
Top 5 Signs Jynxster Mom was at her house:
-
You can’t find something in the kitchen because she put it “Where it is supposed to go”
-
There is a wine bottle for each day she stayed in the recycle bin
-
Every surface in the house has been vacuumed, wiped down or polished with in an inch of its life
-
There are notes all over the house, most of which start with “Don’t be mad, but…”
And the number one sign my Mom has been in my house is…
- Every TV in the whole house is tuned to QVC when you turn it on.
I has a very big sad for Mr. Shoe and PurpleHorseShoe.
Does she clean when she is drunk? Because if so, I will provide the booze if she wants to come to Memphis and clean mine.
Hell yes, I’ll get a box of wine.
I’d need a case of wine for her to clean The VLair.
LOLZ
She only drinks after 5pm. All cleaning is done in the morning to work off the hang over (I think).
Now with all of that previous post said, and I ment to put it in there, I do love my mother and appreciate all the cleaning and last minute cat sitting she volunteered to do, it just makes me feel like an inadequate home keeper when she cleans things that I haven’t gotten around to/seen the need to clean. She cleaned my master bathroom, which I will admit, really needed cleaning, and left a note that said “Don’t be mad that I cleaned in here. You can pay me back by keeping it clean.” The guilt! OY! And she is not even Jewish!
I love the fact that she starts all the notes with “don’t be mad.” At least she has the presence of mind to know that you kind of have the right to be, if you so choose.
I don’t know if my mother would clean, left unsupervised in my house. I think she’d be more likely to play with Netflix and pretend she wasn’t paying attention to the dog and feeding him things.

I’ve been focusing on not complaining because it’s pretty much useless. Unless someone else shares that complaint, then nobody really cares. In fact, most people will respect you less if you complain and you will probably feel shittier as well. Venting is over-rated. If you got a problem, keep it to yourself and figure it out yourself.
Howdy Y’all! Still out in the west forty but headed back to the irkplace soon. I has a big hongree and N.O.L. is in the fridge at irk.
That is all.
My mom wouldn’t even stay long enough to worry about how clean the house is. When she comes and visits she gets her own hotel room and we all hang out with her at her hotel room instead of our house.
My dad when he visits well my floors and clean everything and then moan and complain and lecture on how nasty we are. Honestly, I feel like telling him if he is going to complain about it its not even worth letting him help . He is just cleaning make himself feel like he is better than us.
The Mother in law actually makes more mess when she’s here, and then fails to clean it up. When she does try to help clean up, she’s only does half a job and then doesn’t do it the way my husband likes, then he goes behind her and redos everything anyway.
Well that is the last time I use voice text to type out a response to a thread.
Getting ready to go walk hell pup.
I was on the way out the door when the electrician got here so I’m waiting for him to get done before I leave.
I prefer for Sah-dog to stay in the bedroom when workmen are in the house.
Today is a pissed off day, I’m done being numb and sad, now I’m just pissed.
