Something went very wrong with my plans for a restful night. I woke up about 4:30 to go to the bathroom and I was so dizzy that I was basically staggering my way down the hallway to get there. I went back to sleep for awhile and now that I am up I am somewhat nauseous and have a huge headache. Ugh.

MOOOOOOM I read over that menu. It sounds good. Seems a little pricey but if it is authentic homemade German food that would make it worth the price.

What an odd night. The good part was popping over to the Navy base for an unrestricted view of the moon probe launch. That was waaaaaaay kewl.
Also good was sleeping outside again. It got downright chilly, and I was snug, which is something I luuuurrrrrves.
The downside was also from sleeping outside. Had an almost ringside seat to the neighbor’s chickfight, complete with several rounds of, “Bitch I gonna cut you!” I swear half the sheriff’s department showed up to end the follies. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I guess last night was the Night of Interrupted Sleep. I woke up in pain around 11:40–after I went to bed at 9:30 and was sleeping peacefully–and didn’t get back to sleep until the Tylenol kicked in 45 minutes later. And today I have to work with The Ferret who has been running her mouth nonstop for two vile profanity hours.
I’m off the next two days, thank the deity of your choice.
**swampy **- what kinda bugs me about their menu - apparently they don’t have a weekend lunch menu. And I can’t manage a big meal at lunch. Maybe I’ll just do soup and salad, or share with my sweetie. We shall see.
I’m showered and dressed and waiting for my bedspread to come out of the washer. It was sorta reeking of critters - apparently if **FCD **and I aren’t sleeping, the cats and dog like to lounge upon it. Stoopit critters. So it’s going to hang out on the lines for a major deodorizing by mother nature. So yay.
**FCD **has left already - he’s got to gas up his bike, then they’re all assembling at the dealership. I’m going to head out a bit early and stop at the WalMart in Dahlgren - it’s a nice new store and I need bread anyway, so it’s an excuse. And it’ll kill some time.
The rest of the day is unplanned.

Today will be an early celebration of of my husband’s 50th birthday. Since a couple of our friends can’t come down to the the coast on the actual birthday weekend, a get together is being hosted for him at another friend’s house.
FCM, I wonder if they’ll make you guys do the group menu thing.
I’m a big fan of Jaeger schnitzel and sauerbraten. I grew up eating that kind of stuff because my mother is German.
We used to have a really good German restaurant not far from us. The had traditional Bavarian fare, and a really good game menu too. One my favorites there was a venison stew. It was so good.

I had hoped that getting rid of the giant tube TV would give me some room but after shuffle this, move that, clean , reshuffle that, I am right back in the same arrangement. I have too much stuff and too little space. First World problems, oh well.
