A Laborious MMP

Thank you Rosey. The baby is the easiest part of my life right now. She is a doll.

Aaaawwww. How are Big Brother and Big Sister doing?

To hijack things back to the OP, I wanted to be a Naval pilot “I was supposed to have been a Jesuit priest, or a Naval Acadamy grad…”-Jimmy Buffett, We Are The People Our Parents Warned Us About:smiley:

Tuesday thought it was Monday, and I had to irk late. Sitting down to Parmesan Herb chicken.

We missed you! Awwwww! And pharmacist is a good paying gig.

They are doing great, they started Kindergarten this year. Here they are on their first day of school a few weeks ago.

and another cute baby pic, this is one of my favorites

You make very cute kids. They’re doing OK with having a little sister?

My daughter is jealous of the attention the baby is getting but my son loves playing and laughing with her.

Today I will be formally evaluated by my university supervisor for the first time. I hope I don’t suck. There’s a slight chance that I might get to see RT for a little bit this evening as he is in town. My fingers are crossed but I won’t find out until after school is over.

I’ve got about 30 minutes to kill. I’m not going in till 7 today since all the people who I need to see won’t be in till then. In the future, I’ll be shooting for 6:30.

Last night, I was falling asleep while I was knitting, so I was in bed shortly after 9, and dead to the world before 9:30. With a solid 7 hours of sleep, I feel pretty good this morning. So yay for that! And I’ve got leftover Pollo Fiesta from Salsa’s for lunch, so yay for that too! However, the car has a check engine light on and **FCD **is taking it to the dealer today (it’s still under warranty) so I’ve got to take the truck. ugh.

I am glad this is a temp gig - I can see myself doing this for a few months, but not for years. And my sweetie had a phone interview for a job yesterday - something he found on Craigslist that caught his attention. They want him to come to the facility for another interview. I’m surprised he decided to consider going back to work this soon - I expected him to last till after the new year, but we shall see…

Happy Wednesday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a foggy 72 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 for the day and a slight chance of rain. It did rain last night for quite a while. At least it was still rainin’ when I went sleepy bye and my unofficial rain gauge says we go about one and a half inches of rain.

Howdy Apes! Cute kids!

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Hump Day Y’all! It just does not get old!

Blurf. That is all.

Seconded

Happy Hump Day

It’s a cool cloudy 58 degrees with a projected high of 81.
Nice and cool for Sah-son to mow the lawn.

Sah-dog seems to be better.

Man, I can’t imagine going back to work after retiring. But I suppose I’ll get bored sitting around after a couple months. I am, however, greatly looking forward to it.

Had more PT last night, and while my knees do feel better, my effing legs are killing me.

I suppose the good news is that it’s Wednesday already.

Thirded

My house had a blurf and needed to be rebooted.

Mawnin all and Happy Humping Day

Apes ::smiley waves::

Up, Caffinating and it is

PAYDAY

Woot Woot

Jim

Mebbe you could go to irk on a <snerk> Harley? Just a suggestion. :dubious:

I forgots to tells you that when I was in OCNJ over the wickend, they had a shirt in one of the boardwalk shops; a certain large desert mammal with one curved word over it (kinda shaped like a hump) & one word under it, with lotsa extra A’s & Y’s in the second word. Ifn it was on a shirt & not just the decal hanging on the wall I would’ve gotten it fers ya.
Back to the OP, I wanted to be Hef’s assistant; still do!

Morning all,

I has returned. The trip, traffic wise was a breeze. The relatives were…ok…under the circumstances.

I have a mini poll. If going to a funeral and or wake you deem it appropriate to attire yourself in any of the following:

a) Flipflops/crocs/hiking sandels
b) Capri length pants
c) Shorts
d) Wrinkled polo shirt
e) Sleeveless shirt
f) Jean shorts with strings hanging off
g) Miss matched clothes (dress pants and blouse but neither “went” together)
h) Suit

The majority of the folks wore A-G. Mr. Jynxster & I had on H. We felt really out of place but happy with our attire. Maybe I am old fashioned.

Top 5 signs that your mother has been staying at your place to follow in a later post.

I have to assume that it was a really large suit, so that the both of you could fit in it.
