I have, and it tasted like a creamy mush. And somehow, it seems even worse after seeing what was actually in it.
I like it with corned beef (cooked in the pot with the beef), but that’s about it. I don’t like coleslaw, ‘slaw’, sauerkraut, or kimchi.
As a psychological exercise, I find it really fucking odd that someone thinks it’s appropriate or even funny to hijack a thread about rape accusations with talk of coleslaw and what not. It must have something, to whatever extent, with the phenomenon of trivializing and mockery surrounding very serious or emotional subjects with which someone cannot process. (Hopefully it isn’t a matter of a majority of the jokesters being rapists, or wanting to avoid thinking about how they’re wannabe rapists, or having been victims of rape.)
The woman are not “get[ting] together” for the purpose of validating each other as such, but support … “strength in numbers” (it’s unclear what behavioral study was being referring to, but it either did or did not have anything to do with victims coming forward to report that they too had a similar terrible experience with X and, when they were young, were left feeling powerless and hopeless about any kind of scrutiny or justice).
Those who deny crimes occurred and say “just because a bunch of people have reported the same experience doesn’t make it true.” This doesn’t seem like a substantive counter, if one presumes they must discount or counter the reports.
Someone calling someone a troll is a matter of subjective opinion, whereas someone accusing someone else of rape (or whatever act) is not.

It is so statistically unlikely as to be practically impossible that so many would come forward to falsely report that they were raped by a given party. The chance of all these women being delusion “out for the attention” (even if it’s death threats and denigration and ridicule and someone dismissing their information to talk about coleslaw). This isn’t a case of small children being coached or improperly interviewed.
Luckily, enough folks refuse to succumb to the impulsion to treat the topic of rape in a given way and we avoid nullification or undermining of, say, the investigation and prosecution of, for instance, Sandusky.
Hopefully, no loved ones of any of the jokester posters have been sexually assaulted or will be (though as to women particularly, a not insignificant percentage of them will be at some point in their lifetime, to whatever degree).

Is that how you perceive the point of my post? Looks/reads/smells like more deflection to me. As for this and the other comments, just because the OP’s motivation for posting was X, that doesn’t act as a pass to do Y. In other words, two wrongs don’t make a right. A correct thing to do if you believe the sole function continuing a thread that you assert was created by a troll is to … abandon/ignore it, no?

Just in case the last half-dozen posters haven’t made it 100% clear - if you want a serious discussion of the topic go to the IMHO thread linked in post #2.
The “hijack” is much more a very deliberate short-circuiting and has nothing to do with the topic and everything to do with the fact that the poster who started this thread, kstarnes, is widely despised by much of the board membership. It is 100% based on board-centric animosity and has zero to do with any societal attitudes towards rape, Bill Cosby or the value of jute in Sri Lanka.
In a perfect world where everyone followed this advice, sure. But in this world, no matter how many of us ignore the thread, there are plenty of white knights unfamiliar with the OP who will feed him. So the more effective response is to divert the thread to more healthy topics. Like craploads of mayo mixed with buttermilk and sugar.
Again the (il)logic of coleslaw and other discussion instead of ignoring the troll and abandoning the thread doesn’t make sense as a justification.
I didn’t “suggest” anyone who responded is a rapist or a victim; I in effect observed that it is probable statistically, given the number of humans sexually assaulted during their lifetime. You’d be amazed how many men actually delude themselves into believing criminal sexual acts perpetrated against their own relatives did not take place, and that is some measure of how far the human mind will go to craft illusion.

And (rinse and) I repeat, it would make far more sense to abandon the thread instead of joke during what is otherwise a discussion/conversation about rape.
