I will be staying late tomorrow and Thursday, and will probably have to come in on Friday, which is my RDO. DO.NOT.LIKE but I have to get stuff done or I’m going be locked up on our psych ward.
I bought groceries on the way home because we were too busy running back and forth to the hospital from last Thursday through Sunday, and then Sunday we brought MiL home and had to pick up her 'scripts and groceries too.
Well, I need to cook dinner. Hubby is asking and to be fair to him, I haven’t really cooked much of anything since last week.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 67 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 for the day. This weekend, both Sattidy and Sunday the high is predicted to be around 102 for both days! HAWT!!! Good time for a pool partay. We’re havin’ a birthday/pre-Fourth of July gatherin’. Hot wings, ribs, smoked chikin, corn sallit, coleslaw, N.O.T. sallit, some kind of cake and copious adult beverages. Should be fun!

I managed to sleep in till a wee bit past 6. So far today, the terlit has been scrubbed, I’ve showered and dressed, a load of towels is in the washer, cat box is scooped, and I’m chowing down on a cheese sammich while surfing. Not bad for being up less than an hour.
Today is mostly laundry day (in honor of Soapy, if course… 
) but I’m also going to seed some of the bare areas of the lawn and make sure they’re well-watered. After I mowed yesterday, it was pretty clear where the grass didn’t take. I’m thinking I probably didn’t water enough in some spots in the early days of the seed. No biggie - I’ll get it covered.
House is still open, but I expect before the day is over, I’ll have to close things up again. Bummer. Another heat wave is coming. Stoopit summer.

They interviewed for my post yesterday and have offered the job to someone so it looks like I will be out of here at the end of July. Time to tell my agency I need them to find me a new home!

Thanks for the happy birthday wishes! Last year on my birthday I felt pretty bleak. This year, while things are far from perfect, I have a lot more to be hopeful about. For right now, that 's good enough for me.
