A few days ago I received eight nominations and have only used one. I asked a friend and he gave me a straight up “Yes.” The rest of my friends are huge flakes that I won’t waste a nomination on. I posted a link on Facebook twice describing what Wave is and asked if anybody wanted in. Zero responses. Plus I posted on a small message containing a different group of friends and the only affirmative answer I got was the aforementioned friend.
So because my friends suck and I know there are people here that want in, the remaining seven nominations go to Dopers.
Also, no one seems to have been keeping the list clean and organized of who wants to be part of the party, so my seven nominations are going to the first seven people that send me a private message requesting one.
The nominations take about two days before you actually are allowed in to the club.

I still have six available. So all of you who thought “Nah, it’s too late by now.” well you were wrong. Apparently everyone has thought they’d all be taken in ten minutes and never bothered making an attempt.

I just got my invite from Google, and now have a few invites to spare. What does the list look like right now? I’d rather go in order of original request. Bees, can you let me know who you got Covered. Between you and me we can make honey in this thread.

So once I’m on Google Wave, how do I give out invites?
I have 6 or so invites I can give out to anyone who wants them
NBYodo: A wave will appear in your inbox titled “Invite others to Google Wave” and inside it will be a space for you to enter an e-mail address and a little counter to show you how many you have. It took about three weeks before I was allowed to invite people. And Diosa here didn’t have any yet and she’d been a member longer than I had. I suspect it has to do with how active you are on it.
As for available invites for Dopers, there about an accumulated 20-30 invites just ripe for the picking still.
