Multiple MMPs. I’m terribly confused and way too sober and this is a work day. I may not be able to correct either situation for hours!!! 
Saturday I realized I did not get my car license plate renewal and it expires this month. All weekend I’ve fretted about having to go to the currency exchange (have you ever been to one of those places??? Jeepers creepers). So with great fear and trepidation I set forth this morning.
Gosh, it took all of 10 minutes. The place was clean with no riff raff, the person behind the counter was pleasant and efficient and told me the state no longer sent out notices. Mission accomplished!
Finally, just before 9, I got some work. I’ve spent the last 2 hours or so beating a drawing into submission (still more to be done with it) and I’ve got 2 more drawings waiting in the wings. So I should be good for the rest of today and into tomorrow. Finally!!
Meanwhile, it’s lunch time!! YAY!
So no long walk for Gordie, since it started raining. He did however get to had a hissy fit at the Boxer from 561. Stoopid dog.

My transmission is dying. I managed to get it to the dealership to have it checked, but they still haven’t gotten back to me with the damage. Either a solenoid is failing or the whole transmission is. I’m hoping it’s the former.
I’ve lost a little over 20 lbs and hope to get to 25 by New Year’s.
Irk is fine.
Both of my cats were rescues. Both are excruciatingly cute and both are capable of major destruction.

In other news, I’m 46 today, and I don’t feel like it. I felt about 115 when I woke up, but now I’ve had coffee and food, I feel about 27.
Worse, a friend emailed me to wish me a happy birthday, and reminded me that we met when I was TWENTY-TWO.
Goes fast, doesn’t it?
