I was awoken just after 5am when I both heard & felt something fall (the bed shook)! Sit up, put on the lamp, look around but don’t see anything. Look over the edge & don’t see anything. Was I dreaming & woke up in a panic? Eventually found out old cell phone* fell off the bed, hit the metal bedframe & then landed mostly under the bed skirt, which is why I didn’t see it the first time.
Old cell phone doesn’t have service, but it will still connect to wifi so I can get email & or quick internect access upstairs if I don’t have my phone/it’s charging.
A little bit of 115 + a lot of 27 averages 46, so your good. Happy b-day Surly Rabbit!
I dunno, I kinda like Locked In.
Either way, welcome. You’re now the newbie. If you want to remain, plan on supplying (good) beer & chocolate; otherwise, terrible things involving squid & goat may befall you.
Last Friday a coworker threw an 80’s party at her apartment building. Mostly her friends but also a small contingent of station employees.
At some point a fellow photog who has been with us for about 2 years asked my age, to which I honestly replied 49. He chuckled but I didn’t think much of it.
Awhile later he asked me where I served in Vietnam. That got my attention real quick. He was convinced I was in my 60’s and it took a lot of conversation to convince him otherwise.
Sah-son finally got his paper done! He got a B on the makeup final which is enough to get him an A for the class.
Three more finals and another small paper for English and he is DONE!
Congrats on new puppy Wiki He is cute!
I’ve taken in many strays over the years - the stories I could tell.
When I lived in the city I may have been known as the crazy white bitch, but I was also the one people would dump their unwanted pets on. Three times found new dogs in my yard with notes attached to their collars asking me for a home.
I had dogs, cats, rabbits, parakeets and goldfish.
Balto city allows two pets, I was so far over the limit, but because I was the crazy white bitch nobody ever turned me in. Well, once somebody did and animal control came out to see me - tried to tell me I HAD to let him in my house. Threatened me that he would come back and take all my pets and he was going to write me up because he couldn’t see if they had food and water. Whatever dude - show me a warrant.
Happy Bunny Day!
I have to do some irk for irk, known about it since Firday. I need to get it done.
My day went pretty fast after I got some work to do. I finished 2 fairly detailed drawings, part of which included going into the model to fix a part that was supposed to mate to another, but didn’t. Anyway, they’re done and I’ve got another on my desk for tomorrow. So I’ll have something to do as soon as I get in. Yay!!
**FCD **got home just barely before I did - he was getting the mail at the end of the driveway when I pulled up behind his truck. Higgs was considerably happier to see him than me. She loves me when I feed her or when I’m on the recliner. Otherwise, not so much…
I had chickie strips and noodles and corn for supper. My sweetie didn’t want anything. I was starving, so I had to make something. Happy tummy now. Life is good.
I’ve had about 2/3 of a migraine for two days – I’m due for my Botox next week and the stuff never lasts the full 12 weeks. I think it’ll be a not-exciting early bedtime in the Bunny household tonight.
Howdy Y’all! I survived Moanday and irk. After irk OYKW and I went on an adventure to the ATT sto’. He took the plunge and is now the owner of an iphone 5S or some such as that. Then we went to the not too shabby Chinese [del]hog trough[/del] buffet for dindin. Now we shall see if’n he does anything with the thing except talk and text. Also, I have decided to go ahead and bundle all my phone/internet/cable stuff. I already had phone and cable with ATT. I am goin’ with Direct TV through ATT. I am off Firday so the dish thingy shall be installed then. I despise the local cable company (Mediacom) and got a much better deal with ATT/Direct TV, so yay!
I read all but comprehended little, so yays, boos, hugs, noogies, wedgies, smooches, chitlins, trouts, how you doin’s as needed.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Papillons Wiki! I have 2 and a half (the half is part Pap, part who knows what) and they are the bestest little dogs ever! Rikki is adorable!
Yesterday, as part of my annual Christmas tradition, I performed a solo in church. I’m part of the Chancel Choir, and I’ve been doing solos almost since I was old enough to sing. This year, I sang “The Angel Gabriel” at both the early and main services. I sang it in the special music slot at the 8:45, right after the pastor did the Scripture reading. As it turns out, the reading was about the angel Gabriel’s appearance to Mary. We didn’t plan it that way.
At the 11:00 service, I sang it as they were passing out the communion elements. Both performances were done a capella, and you can hear the 11:00 one at the 51:05 mark of the accompanying audio file.
I heard back from the dealership about my car. It’a a straight - up remove and replace , which is the easy part. Unfortunately, it’s going to cost $6,000 for a new transmission and about $4,000 for a salvaged one. The guy said he’ll talk to Honda to see what they’re willing to do , but I don’t think they’re going to do much, if anything.
