Back from Bad Chinese - it was pretty bad, all right. I got 2 loads of laundry done and I’m going to assume the knit position. I’m tired - I need a good sleep. Wonder what the chances of that are? Especially now with bear-ass lurking in my subconscious… :eek:

And Swampy, my daughter and I both were trying to guess which fat ass was yours … but even more intriguingly, we were trying to guess which was OYKW’s! (shhh, better not tell him that!)
I am officially one day into my first four day weekend in a while, and loving it! LOL Seriously though, today I also went and got bloodwork drawn (routine) then went and had a bone density scan, since I take synthroid every day. No results on the bloodwork just yet … I probably don’t want to see them, though, because I have not been a “good girl” recently and my sugar levels are probably well elevated. 
My daughter and I also did a little shopping, including spending -way- too many $$ in the Dollartree store (everything $1!). I was able to get some Lance Nekot cookies there, though, which makes me quite happy.
Oh yeah, and I too want to eat some of mmmmmmms cooking!

I have spent the day moving a few bits of furniture and shampooing carpets in the house in preparation for all my stuff arriving back from France in about 10 days time. I am a little tired now.
I am also 2 beers and a laaaarge cocktail into my Friday night I love being home!

It’s 10 til 10, and I wanna go for a walk. Looks like I get to live at the gym this weekend. It will be good to go sweat on Monday without having to go to work.
Had taco salad for dinner. Hubby is a fantastic cook. And he has a nice butt. I like a nice rear on a man.

Ran bambilance last night, and scored another one returning home from a routine run. Deer is dead, and the brand new ambulance is virgin no more.

I understand why she barked a little after 5 - that’s when she’s used to going out for her morning constitutional. So I got up, let the dogs out, filled their kibble, and went back to bed.
Twenty freekin’ minutes later, she barks again. Just as I was dozing off. So I got up again. Opened the patio door. She wouldn’t go out. Took her to the garage to go out - she wouldn’t. And now I’m too awake to lie back down. That’s why Scruffy must die.
It’s raining. It’s been raining for some time, at least I’m pretty sure it has, because I incorporated the rain into the bizarro dream I was having. But from the looks of the weather radar, it’s moving out of here rapidly. That means breakfast to be gotten enroute to Annapolis. Maybe even in Annapolis. We’ll see when the rest of the household wakes up.

Sadly, I see no pics of OYKW’s fat ass. He had ush duties and for some reason no ush pictures are there, which surprises me. Those on ush duty hang toward the back durin’ services because they do such things as go check on the nursery, the headcount and such as a part of ush duties. It’s just easier to sit in a chair near the doors to the Narthex, so that’s where he was.
Ok, Ima go clean up and get the baked beans started in the slow cooker. I want ‘em to cook today and tomorrow I’ll just warm ‘em up in said cooker. Today friends are comin’ over to hang. We’ll have hotdawgs for lunch and they are bringin’ steaks and a sallit for dindin. YUM!

Morning. Horrible, horrible morning. I’m hurling, hubby is sick, puppy would not leave us alone this morning, and I’m going to have to give up my gym membership. We have an incredible rate, but there’s too many people to support right now. I just can’t do it anymore. I really need a second job or to find one where I can get some overtime.

That sucks about having to give up the gym membership. I had to do that about a year and half ago, when I gave up my Y membership. There were four of us, and it was just another hundred and some odd dollars that was better spent elsewhere…like bills.
I ended up getting in and out of the DMV on Thursday in less than 10 minutes. I guess I picked the right time to go.
I woke up with a watery irritated right eye today. I don’t think it’s iritis (had that in my left eye a couple years ago and it’s uberpainful) it’s either plain old allergic irritation or conjunctivitis*. It’s not bad enough to see a doctor today so it will probably get worse tomorrow or the next day because it’s a holiday weekend [sub]and my birthday on Monday [/sub] and that’s how my luck goes.
*I am not craving brains yet.
I was at work until 8pm yesterday–LIBRARY work. :eek: And the saddest part of it? I didin’t get to what I had intended to get to. The List just gets longer…
I didn’t look for any fat asses or money boxes. Sorry. I am also hungry, but nothing appeals. Hmmm.
Have a happy Bank Holiday/Memorial Day weekend, all. It’s glorious here–sunny and warm with a slight breeze. If I hadn’t injured my bad foot, I’d be out gardening like a maniac. Instead, I’m indoors and kinda bored.

Managed to stay outside from 8:30-1:00. Now I’ve had lunch and am about to clean up some, since the little brother is on his way. I was going to go to a graduation open house with him tonight, but I really really really want to get more done in the garden and I won’t get to go back out till 6:30 or so (open house starts at 5:00). They’re his friends, not mine, so it’s not like I have a particular obligation.
Need to do laundry, as well. But first it’s general tidying.
