I had mine this morning, and I did not endear myself in any way to the check-in clerk. Seeing how it was my 4th attempt in 10 days to get it done, she had it coming. My lab orders went in on Nov 2nd, and she could not find them in the other three times. Today, I took the transmission receipt from my PCP, miraculously she found them.
I told her she couldn’t find her own ass with both hands and a GPS unit.
OTOH, I had fun with the vampire that drew my blood samples.
15 interviews later and I can barely string a coherent sentence together. No 4 day weekend for me Boooooo! But I get to go home tomorrow. Yay! I also got upgraded to First Class from Houston to San Fransisco. Yay! There is the occasional benefit to being a (really) frequent flyer.

Culinary Boy is seriously driving me crazy with this computer upgrade stuff. I’m so glad that he has production tomorrow so I don’t have to deal with hours of him obsessing over every little thing that might be wrong with the computer.
The new monitor is awesome, though.

Fun story from the news: Car crashes into house. Why is this fun? Because the guy who was woken up was the infamous Asshole Ex-Roommate. And the guy (possibly) drunk drove into a halfway house. Irony!

Sounds like a crappy lab situation, Bobbio. Don’t suppose there’s anywhere you can go for lab work? Is there an office manager or someone else you can complain to?
I worked out in the garden for a while - it’s been gorgeous out this week - and now I’m sorting out some stuff so that I can maximize the recycling in the morning. I know how to celebrate! (Does it count that I’m sipping a nice glass of wine?)

PS- Boots on women just work. Tried getting my wife to wear a pair for Years. Its still about as likely as the 700 Club opening up a chain of “Mother Theresa Whore-House & Tattoo Parlors”.
On a brighter note I had a mediocre review that means Nothing (everybody gets paid the same) but I had a recruiter call & say she wants me for a small company. Now I have to Google the living heck out of this new company & find out if the person who left prior was just a spoiled idiot or if they saw something in the books that made them think it was simply better to jump ship fast. Hmmm…

Sorry for the rushes in and out but work is being irk. We’re clearing a lot of old stock and stamp stuff through eBay and guess who got tagged to do it. I haven’t really done eBay as a buyer or seller in ages and ----- a lot has changed. The bad news is I actually have to work at doing stuff I don’t enjoy (just like normal people do 
)----- the good news is I’m getting a load of comp time I can burn up next summer going to amusement parks.
PS Spaz and FCM – about Bones - love the concept of the show but hate the execution. It’s like anyone with half a brain has to be some sort of freak. And while I may resemble that remark they act it poorly.
