If anyone asks, eating angel foood cake while drinking whiskey makes for a rather poor combination. It, th whiskey has at least untied a couple of layers of musehle knots.

Speaking of dipsomania, I cut up much of the tree the drunkard left. I found one of my three arisaema alive.
The chainsaw and I gave out. I discovered that much of t he tree was cut and and dumped off the wall into the back yard.
I hurt everywhere, but the half a vicodin is making it better.
I kept getting angry texts from some guy whose wife?gf? was cheating on him.
They were kind of freaky in that the grammar, spelling and punctuation were perfect.
I told him he had the wrong person but a week or so later I started getting the angry texts again.
It’s not my thing, but if you like that, mebbe you could talk ShinyCat into becoming Mrs Plant v4.0 :eek:

Good morning and Happy Mother’s Day to the Mommy Mumpers.
I am up and hanging out for a little bit. I’m running a Mother’s Day 5K with a friend of mine this morning. At least I hope I’m running. My knee was a bit on the cranky side yesterday (I’m sure that climbing to the top of the McKinley Monument had *nothing *to do with it) and it’s only 37F outside right now but I’m just going to do my best.
Then this afternoon is my traveling friend’s performance and out to dinner afterwards. Busy day.
Next weekend I’m going to the local roller derby. I’ll be setting up to sell my stuff. If it’s a successful venture, I’ll set up for all of their home bouts this season. If not, well, at least I’ll be entertained.
Morning all, and happy Sunday! I had a fun night out with friends yesterday, went to a specialist real ale put in the big city where they had this on the beer list. It’s much stronger than my usual tipple but it had to be tried! Most of the other beers were around 3-4.5% but there’s always something special on pump number 9.
I don’t have much planned for today apart from ironing and vacuuming which I’ll be doing later. I might make some parsnip soup for lunch and spend the rest of the day vegging (apart from the obligatory half hour on the Wii machine). A nice soak in the bath after my exercise, and then I will be having steak and chips for dinner.
As I’m off on holiday on Wednesday, I should start getting stuff together for that too…

I’m not a math major or anything, but unless I’m caught in a time warp, I don’t think 1996 was 46 years ago…
We’re heading out for breakfast and a run to Lowe’s for something to kill the crop of poison ivy in the front yard. I’m going to use the push mower this morning, then try to get all the daffodils in the ground. We’ll see how that goes.

Sinuses are acting up this morning. I think a trip to the Botanical Gardens is in order for this afternoon since the university graduation festivities are over.
Friday Detailed AGM brought in a black cherry chocolate cheesecake from Karen Donatelli cakes for Squirrel AGM, Mr. Mississippi, and Afternoon Blonde who are all May babies. Once again I got all the raspberries because those nuts don’t know what good is. I may have to insist on a KD cake for my fourth workiversary in June. Then I’ll have to slap Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines because they don’t make cakes like that.
