A Spooky & Furry Critter MMP

I need naps time.

Just got an email that the chairs are ready for pickup at Home Depot, so we’ll swing by there on our way home from dinner. Yay!

MOOOOOOM I bought a patio table and chairs from the Martha Stewart Collection at KMartha several years ago. As I was puttin’ it together I decided that she deserved life in prison without parole for that table and chairs. It’s a nice table and chairs but it was haaaaaaaaaaay-ell to put together. Hope your stuff is easier to put together.

I wanna go home! However, I must irk. Poor me.

**swampy **- the tables weren’t difficult to put together, but being Made In China, the hardware was pretty cheezy. The quality assurance for the washers was pretty much non-existent. They provided a socket tool to put it together, but I got a socket and ratchet from the basement - made it a LOT easier to assemble.

Now I need to scrub the railings around the deck. They’re kinda green. I’m hoping the Magic Eraser will do the job.

Howdy from da cave! I have jambalaya simmerin’ away. Smells so nummy! Jambalaya, sallit and garlic bread from dindin. MMMMMMMMMMMM!

MOOOOOOM if you’re done with that socket and ratchet give it back to the basement or the basement might not ever lend you any more tools.

The socket and ratchet is staying upstairs till the rest of the furniture is delivered and assembled. :stuck_out_tongue:

We’re leaving in a couple of hours to meet up with the biker gang for Chinese food. I’ll need to change - I’m not going in shorts.

And I’ve got to find a Lowe’s receipt - the sprinkler I bought is a piece of crap and I need to return it. I HATE HATE HATE all the made-in-China crap that the big box stores stock. I don’t think it’s possible to buy anything but the cheap Chinese crap. It really pisses me off. I know I’ll get a refund, but I’ve still got to pay for the gas to drive 30+ miles. grrrrrrrrrr

What happened to the good ol’ days when everything was made in USA - Oh yeah, it’s more *profitable *to have it made by sub-minimum-wage laborers overseas - plus the customer has to keep replacing the crap products. grrrrrrrrrrr

As [del]threatened[/del]promised, the visual definition of blurf.

and imagine that face and hair on an adult with no caffeine in his/her system

That’s some serious blurfage

Early dindin is et and kitchen clean. Go Me! OYKW ate then left to go deal with paperirk at his orifice. He has an audit comin’ up poor thing. In a while I shall go to Evening Prayer over to the church house. Mid-week at it’s usual whirlwind madcap pace!

Yep that’s a blurf.

I survived my walk with hell pup.

The *dream *was not pleasant. The shaman is actually a pretty cool guy.

It’s kind of a boring story. We met on LiveJournal about twelve years ago, met in person a few times, I helped him with a couple of fireworks shows at the Eastern NC Boy Scout Camporee. He’s an ordinary guy mainly–except that he takes fantastic photographs, especially of lightning. He’s also a Shawnee with red hair. His Shawnee ancestry was recent enough to get him adopted into the tribe about ten years back. I’m not entirely sure how he became a shaman. He started to tell me the story once but got interrupted and never finished it. This was actually the first time I’d encountered him as a shaman. Even in a dream–especially in a dream–it seemed very significant.

Gonna go get dressed then head to dinner, so I’m logging off. Catch ya tomorrow. Don’t trash the furniture and* USE YOUR COASTERS!!!

:D*

Woot woot, we are without adult supervision.

::flings coasters out window::

Who is bringing the keg? I have music and party space.

::coaters boomerang back into my head and break coffeetable glass::

Jim

Flytrap, you’re gonna need a bigger box!
Cap’n, Shame on you! You’re s’posed to use coasters as Frisbees, not boomerangs. It only the broken ones that can be boomerangs. Sheesh!

Thanks for the vibes! It’s a lovely one bedroom, 1.5 bath, in a very clean building with lots of older folk. Some near my age - some possibly in their 90s but still walking their dogs, Godblessem. It’s not glamorous, but it’s nice. and I have my own washer dryer.

Y’all can toss the confetti now.
::collapses from sheer exhaustion::

does the Snoopy dance

:: tossing confetti, coasters, ribbons, bottles and lawn darts at random::

Yeah Rosie

Congrats

Jim

YEA!!!

I’m happy for you.

Now I have to hear from the mortgage company.
Maybe they don’t want to work with me :frowning:

I’ve been debating for over a week.

I finally broke down and returned his text messages yesterday.

Then he said the wrong thing and pissed me off again.
I feel like we are speaking two different languages. :frowning:
