Hi everyone!
Glad to hear you’re hanging in there, Puggy.
Sorry about your puppy, Meli; I’m sure it was hard to say goodbye. Hugs.
I blame Nava for making me look at the Madonna Inn. Not sure what that was, but the Espana room looked neither Mexican nor Spanish to me. I haven’t been brave enough yet to look at the rest of it. Oh, and having SIL as her physician is a stroke of genius, I have to say. But geez, even I want to slap SIL and I don’t even know her.
Glad to hear you’re an inspiration, Jahdra.
Yay for the exercise, Mama T! I have a friend who had both knees done last year. She’s always been in good shape, but got into even better shape before the surgeries and had a quick and excellent recovery.
Grad school stuff doesn’t sound too bad, Al. Oh, and sorry about the car. Yep, that’s major stuff. It’s never a good sign when they start talking about head gaskets. At least you have a back-up car to use in the meantime.
Neat volunteer opportunity, taxi! I always like volunteer work where you can actually see the results and be confident that stuff is getting to people who need it.
Glad to see Maggie is so ermmmm… well-trained, doggio!
I was the one who asked about your syllabus, Hank. Now that you mention it again, I remember that you’d told us you were taking a class about teaching at a Community College. That’s an interesting concept. What kind of graduate program are you in? It always sounds like you’re in some type of lit program but this class makes it sound like you’re getting an education degree (or like some humanities grad programs have finally started to connect to reality).
Guess I should head toward the kitchen and forage for dinner. Not sure what I want to eat.
