Three months plus have gone by; Little Greenie remains at large, as far as I can tell. Meanwhile certain whisperers have advanced paranoid speculation about her; the FBI supposedly knows her identity, and she is #9 on their persons of interest list among Capitol invaders of Jan. 6 (assuming the fairly low number translates to heightened interest in her case, which maybe is a wrong conclusion) but the rumor being circulated is that she was questioned by the Feds days after the insurrection then set free because she was an FBI plant all along! Set among the Patriotic freedom lovers to stir up trouble! So goes the argument.
Anyway, meanwhile a number of those who were arrested and incarcerated in DC are getting antsy. Here’s an interesting bit of NPR reporting you might find amusing.

Yes, they’re getting antsy, and there’s money involved. It is sad.

I am now going to reverse my previous stance about not naming the young lady I call Little Greenie. I no longer see the point since her real name, Megan Paradise, had already been widely circulated not long after the pictures of her kickin’ back behind somebody’s desk in the Capitol - the Sedition Hunters spilled the beans among others, and the circumstances of her fugitivity, if that’s a word, generated a few bug-eyed conspiracy theories, something about the FBI having brought her in, questioned her, then let her go - no explanation given, nor even acknowledgement that said interview even took place - and you can bet that set a few tongues a-waggin’ about her being a plant, but whose? Will we ever know?
But maybe that.doesn’t matter. What does matter is there are many participants in the January 6 riot who were never found, never caught, never arrested. I mean, more than two thousand who are still fugitives until the clock runs out on the statute of limitations, which varies depending on who allegedly did what. We all know what happened to the ones who were nabbed; some were tried, some found not guilty, but those convicted had the great good fortune of having a felon elected to a position where he could unlock those prison doors and let the pigeons fly free! It’s in the Constitution!
But maybe someone can set me straight. Suppose, hypothetically, a couple of years pass, and the felon referenced above has been retired from power, and is replaced by a democratically elected successor, one is inclined to appoint not a toady but someone serious about law enforcement to head the FBI. Would those two-thousand-odd fugitives find themselves still subject to being held accountable? Might they even wish they’d been nabbed and jailed back when enforcement of laws was still taken seriously? At least now they would be free, living the high life and telling their grandkids about what Real Patriots they were. Instead, they now have to go back to looking over their shoulders, wondering if they’d lowered their guard too much.
I mean, no blanket pardon can help you if you were never convicted, right? I need to know - the country needs to know. I will throw this one fact out: the judge in the Pipe Bomb planter case, where bombs were planted at DNC and RNC HQs in DC the night before January 6, has recently ruled that the Trump pardon does not apply to the prosecution of the accused Mr. Cole. I would say “nice try” but really, it reeks of desperation. And as someone who’d like to think, even late in the day, that crooks don’t get away with it, I hope someone here can deliver a measure of hope, or else sock me in the snoot if there is none.
I can’t really follow everything in your post, but you can be pardoned in advance of any conviction – Ford did that for Nixon, Biden did it for Hunter Biden and Fauci, I think.
People who were never charged and committed crimes where the statute of limitations hasn’t run out can still be charged. Seems unlikely that anyone is still in danger from that – I think the more egregious perpetrators on 1/6 were arrested, convicted, and pardoned or had their sentence commuted.
So, no hope from me.
