The game is that if you come across this thread, you must:
Say whether you opened it while browsing or if you found it by doing a vanity search and
List one or more dopers that might do a vanity search and find this themselves.

Wow. Ya fooled me. I actually opened this thread while browsing. I saw FAS in the title and thought maybe it had something to do with the Federation of American Scientists. I knew they tended to keep a close eye on the military, so I thought maybe the thread had something to do with accountability on interesting military projects or something. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a conspiracy theory.

Ha! I almost never do vanity searches (only when I’m looking for a thread I’d already posted in or started and can’t find). But I am an inquisitive rascal. And this thread kept popping to the top with an indecipherable (to me) title.

Yes, FAS does stand for that as well (we use it at my company) - and it’s a miracle the Financial Accounting Standards Board hasn’t pounded that particular fixed asset software company into oblivion for daring to possess the same initials.
