No, Clothahump has had his threads all right, but I think digging all that ancient stuff here is a little excessive. The only purpose here seems to be pointing and laughing.

It’s not pointing and laughing, it’s calling attention to the fact that he’s a dirty old man who enjoys tut-tutting about everything while oblivious that he’s creepy as hell. With a few exceptions (like the bathroom thread), it’s not always immediately obvious. But seeing acey’s full oeuvre helps clarify it, and this thread, including references to old stuff, is useful for that.
Acey has been driving us crazy for years with his creepy, repulsive notions about sexuality, his retrograde social views, his lack of self-awareness, his boorishness and stupidity, and his utter immunity to embarrassment. This thread is how we cope with his continued presence here.
If you don’t want to participate in the pitting, that’s fine. And if you really want to be his sole defender on this board—which I’d strongly advise against—knock yourself out. But don’t think for a moment that you’re going to shame us into stopping.
Fine, apparently he’s a lot worse than I thought. I read only some of the first page which was disturbing, and some in the last pages. That is “cold space” and “audacity”, which is totally innocent and definitely not a pit stuff for a decent person.
However if most of his work around here is like the former and not the latter, carry on.

One thing I’ve learned about him is that he is absolutely terrified of disagreement. It’s like he just wants to close his eyes and stick his fingers in his ears, and if he can only do that hard enough, everything will be okay.
Well, clearly Comey should have known better than to make a spectacle of himself by being fired and then subpoenaed to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Acey praised Comey’s “courage” back when the pre-election email thing blew up. He had no problem with the FBI director meddling in politics then.
Anyway, that’s a recurring theme in Acey’s political posts: Democrats, liberals, and anyone who is Not Republican should shut up and go away, because dissent is disrespectful, and just plain rude.
So it is his standard practice I think to return to a thread and not acknowledge at all his gross, stupid factual errors but just to go and assert more asshole idiocy?
