It’s SNOWING! Lots of snowing! It’s a good day to stay in and work on Dad’s blanket. Afterwards there will be Skyrim. Or I could just skip the Skyrim and go outside, same environment.

I’ve been trying to get some fork work done today but I just can’t get motivated. At least I got actual homework done yesterday. But homework doesn’t pay the bills.
Believe it or not, this was a mutual decision, even tho I think motorcycles are stupid. We sat down with our budget, our assorted accounts (bank and retirement) and our ideas of where we want to be when we decide to retire for reals. Bottom line was apart from my dislike of the noisy, smelly 2-wheeled things, there was no reason for him not to get it. I did make him promise not to drag me to Bike Weeks and such, so there’s that. Except I did agree to go to a bike show in Timonium next week. rah.
Good morning! We’ve breakfasted. **FCD **is working in his shop. I’m going to do our taxes in a little bit. About noon, I’m going to start a hunk of corned beef to cookin’ - I’ll add the veggies and cabbage later.
We got a little snow last night and a few flakes are drifting down right now, but nothing of consequence. It’s just a cold, overcast day.
It appears one of our chromis laid a mess of eggs in the corner of the tank, and at least 2 of them are on guard around them. I will be amazed if babbeh fishies appear - all previous eggs became snacks for the crabs and snails. But we shall see.

Well, Super Bowl Sunday is finally here. Go Ravens! LOL I’m only rooting for them because I went to the University of Delaware, as did Joe their quarterback. At any rate, I just hope that it will be a good, competitive game.
Sad for your cousin, BBBBobbio, but glad that you are getting this time to spend with him now. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry about the snow, Rosie, but glad that I am in NM now and not getting any snow here. We do need rain, though, unfortunately. 
Oh yes, and shhh, don’t tell but the taxes in NM are significantly lower than in MD! :eek: I guess the downside is that, ya gotta live in NM. 
I am still enjoying living here, but my gosh I do miss the east coast, and I did NOT think I’d be saying that! LOL

I’m an ABCD guy.
I just did our taxes. Boy, did we screw up withholdings this year! I’m going to run by the credit union and move some of our savings into an IRA for me since I don’t get a 401k yet - that’ll reduce what we owe by about $2k, but we’ve still got to pay more than $3K, which does not make me happy.
I need to check on my W4 - they’re not holding enough out of my pay. I thought for sure I claimed 0 exemptions, but maybe I didn’t. I’ll fix it tomorrow.
I don’t mind paying my fair share, but I hate when we don’t have our withholdings set up right. I haz a grouchy.
