I feel bad for not knowing about norinew – one of the things I did to save money was cut the Internet from my house and just use it at the library. So for a year I wasn’t online much at all - and then the Dope gave me that “you’ve been denied access” once when I did try to log on.

My clue was when I came across my own post higher up in the thread. fessie, wow! Good for you! I’m so glad that things are so much better for you now!
I think about norinew sometimes and feel bad that the world has one less sweet, kind lady in it. You know what? It truly goes to show – life is too short to stay in broken situations. You need to find your own true way, because there’s no promise that any of us will be here tomorrow.

Most of the Dopers who’ve passed away were people I only knew as names on a screen. But Norine (norinew) and Paul (DWC) were people I had spent a fair amount of time with at Doper gatherings over the years. It’s still hard to believe I’ll never see either one of them again.
Thanks for updating us, fessie. I’m so glad to hear you’re in a better place now. (Sounds like the kids are, too.) I’m a bit choked up now for some reason, though…
