Holy shit! Ladder just reset a few hours ago, and there’s already a few level 95 sorceresses on normal expansion ladder, and a level 95 assassin on expansion hardcore! Completely and utterly amazing.
I won’t be participating in the new ladder season, at least not immediately. I’ve just gotten a job (after two years of unemployment!) and I’m going to be moving in the next couple of weeks hopefully, or by the end of the month at the latest. So I’m probably going to be without an Internet connection for at least a few days somewhere in there. Guess I’d better work on “perming” my last few mules that need that done…
… cheating. Expect to see some keys banned, especially as there’s a prize for the first level 99 on each realm.
Yeti - 6am is a bit early in the morning for the likes of me. 
Most of my playing will probably be weekend evenings.
My wish list: obviously anything with +summoning (Druid). A class-specific Lore helm would be good. I’ll also need a good melee weapon (1H, preferably) until I hit level 30, and a good missile weapon thereafter. Most of the rest is optional, though optimally I’d like to have +8-10 summoning at level 45 - not as greedy as it sounds, as +6 of that can be found on helms and amulets that nobody else wants.
Surprisingly it’s not cheating, it’s ghosting.
Well, Patriarch CausalAnomaly is at lvl 76, but i have to go to work soon, so i’m going to have to set him aside for a while. I should be home from work early, so i can hop on and help anybody who’s online with quests. I also have a bunch of equipment to unload whenever i catch someone online.
I managed to snag the #1 spot on the paladin ladder for a brief period of time, and when we stopped about half an hour ago, i was #2 on paladin (but only behind by around 15 million xp) and somewhere in the teens in the overall ladder rankings (don’t remember exactly where). I suppose by the time i get home i’ll have dropped significantly.
And to answer the questions before they’re asked, i gave up on the prospect of sleeping last night, which is why i managed to get as far as i did. It’s amazing what 12 uninterrupted hours of gaming can accomplish.
I’m at 42 or so now, been doing Baal runs for the last couple of hours. I still haven’t found anything decent equipmentwise for the necro but I’m looking. I’m going to go into nm soon, but now the realm is down…
Holy… I’ve been complaining about the items that I’ve been finding for my necro. Couldn’t seem to find anything…

haven’t been playing for a long time… are these still used as currency? what the significance of the occasional “XXXX number of stone of jordans sold to merchants” system messages?

Wow, that’s worth quite a bit at this stage of the game. You oughta go to the trade channels to see what people will offer for it. Who knows, you might be able to get full trang’s set for it.
It’ll take at least a few weeks for botters to make any sort of impact. At this point, there just aren’t enough high level characters.
Stones of Jordan are still used for currency off-ladder, where there are still dump-trucks of dupes left, but they’re much rarer and more valuable on the dupe-clean ladder. On ladder, the main currency is now runes, especially useful ones like Ist, Vex, and Ber. The Stones of Jordan Sold to Merchants message is part of a ploy by Blizzard to get the afore-mentioned dupes out of circulation: Briefly, every so many sales on a given server, and the Diablo Clone will show up in all Hell games hosted on that server. If you manage to kill the Diablo Clone (a much tougher and nastier version of Diablo), he drops the unique Annihilus small charm, a very desireable item.

Just reposting this since some of you haven’t added your account names…
I’m finding magic finding in the Pit with 31 total magic find to be… interesting. Not to say I haven’t found anything… I found a Demon’s Arch that Yeti seemed pleased with… and I also found Trang’s helm which could come in handy as the other parts of the set show up.
Other things that I happen to have that may interest someone… I happen to have this +3 to Traps ammy, I wonder if MDSL would have any interest… 
Also, for anyone interested here. I have a superior Wormhide (I believe) armor, defence about 515 with no sockets at the moment. Larzik would give it 4 and would be good for a CoH armor. I wasn’t going to post this until I could check every fact on it, but I won’t be on until tomorrow afternoon so I did it now. I found it late last night and was half asleep.
