Ok guys. If you are up this late, I’m going to make a TCP/IP game at IP 192.168.0.103 if anyone wants to join. Come on in. I’ll be playing until I get bored. I’m starting a Necro, so it’ll be a normal game. Good times.

Apparently, cubing 3 mana and 3 healing potions no longer gives you a rejuv in 1.10. However, according to the cube recipes page, if you put a chipped gem in there with the potions, it’ll work. With a Standard gem, you get a Full Rejuv.
Guess they had to balance the selling of mana potions somehow.
Tried my sword-barb in Act II and his merc kept getting swarmed in the sewers. At least each of my characters have a few million gold pieces stashed away so they’re not in danger of going broke by resurrecting mercs.
Since I went on B-Net, SP seemed…well…like golfing by myself…
Uhhuh. I am just going to read what I can and wait until the patch is available on bnet. Am I the only one practically salivating over the ladder?
No, you’re not. I’m here trying to think of what character to start and what type of build to use. Frenzy barb is winning so far…
I would love to try a new P/B necro. Those synergies look fantastic, as do the skill boosts.
And by some stroke of fate, I lost virtually none of my characters, despite my long hiatus. While I don’t want to heavily tweak anymore, I might have a few goodies to go around…
From what I’ve come to understand, if you didn’t log into your accounts for greater than 90 days at any given time, the fact that they are all there now DOES NOT mean that they will always be there in the future. If I were you, I would make a new account, burn in some mules for over 2 hours and haul all the good stuff over to the new mules. From what I’ve heard, Blizzard expires accounts that have been inactive periodically rather than constantly.
It may not matter much though, because most everyone is going to be playing the ladder.
Does anyone know if Diablo III is underway/ever going to be made?
I am sick of playing bnet with the outrageously hacked characters and hardcore just pisses me off.
What’s so great about 1.10??? 
There aren’t currently any public plans to create a Diablo3. Four of the founders of Blizzard just left the company at the same time, and they were the core creators of Diablo. The reason for their exodus seems to be irritation working for a company owned by the huge multi-national company Vivendi, and not having full control. Also the fact that they were being kept in the dark about the pending sale of their branch of the company was likely a contributing factor. In light of the fact that they all left at the same time, it seems likely they have some plans of working together on something. Who knows what that will be…
The 1.10 patch of D2 will have MANY changes, only one of which is something called RustStorm that is supposed to take care of the all of those “outrageously hacked characters” that piss us all off. Even if this fails, they will be starting a nice clean new ladder season when they release the patch.
You can download a beta of the 1.10 patch and play it Single Player or over a LAN, not on the Realms.
Are there anything that makes it more exciting? New quests or monsters? I have played every character to at least lvl 50 3 times each if not more and have been burnt out on the same story. I need a DIABLO III!!!
If there are no other major changes what else can I play…I need my fix. 
I have been burnt out of Morrowind so don’t go there…that game pissed me off.
I need something that has the killing factor in good numbers/a good story/ and the ablility to build your character to greatness.

well the game got a lot harder with 1.10beta.
1.10beta also features new unique items, runewords, cube recipes, synergy skills and a whole lot more.
Hell Difficulty is now near impossible to go solo.
Don’t know why you play DiabloII, but there are people who find items, make wacky character builds, try out hardcore, duel, and level up higher than cLvl 50.
d2 gets boring to a few ppl, but not me and the few fans here.

New sets, too, one of which allows the Necro to turn into a Vampire. There was also some secret world event added.
Nightmare on solo is difficult enough to do solo, I’ll probably revert to 1.09 again unless I decide to go all-closed BNet.
Regarding Diablo III: It seems the storyline is dead so another sequel woud be hard to pull off. I’d love to see a prequel though. The Diablo gameworld would make a great MMORPG for those tired of EQ.
Nope, I haven’t seen any info on new sets. They’ve beefed up some of the expansion sets (IK, Mav’s, Trang Oul’s, etc.). The complete Trang Oul’s will make you look like a Dark Lord (the annoying Meteor-dropping, Fire Wall throwing guys in Act III.
You don’t just get to look like those guys, you get to drop meteors and toss fire walls and such! Sounds pretty cool to me, though I like the one that makes the Assassin turn etherial.
Lots of the items and sets now give certain characters powers from other classes. I think it’s going to be a really cool upgrade.
I get the impression that the difficulty has been increased to allow them to give us better weapons and mods.

I’m trying to make a “silence” bow with the six runes - Dol, Eld, Hel, Ist, Tir, & Vex. Obviously I’m stuck on getting the Ist rune and I’ll probably have an even tougher time getting the Vex. I saw the table that has the apprx. chances of getting said runes, which is roughly 77 and 32 in 144,000 respectively. What items, jewels, gems, etc. would more than likely satisfy a trade for either or both of these runes? SOJ’s - I hear about them, but I don’t find them. Would a unique like Jalal’s Mane net me one of these runes or do I have to do better than that? Would 20 p. gems be sufficient? 30? 40? I gotta make that stupid runeword bow!
Can’t help regarding rune trading - I’ve always been SP. But I’d hold off on a Silence right now. Rune upgrading goes all the way to 11…er…Zod in 1.10, and the “Breath of the Dying” runeword looks to be deadly.
But if you do “Silence” a bow, make sure it’s a Crusader, not a Hydra. Superior Crusader, if possible.
