Well, my new USWest javazon is started and up to level 17. My account name is numbnut1.
The first night was fun. I played with Yeticus Rex and his necromancer and a little bit with Chronos and MDSL. Good fun all around. Hope to see everybody again.
Yeah, I was on for about 10 minutes! Then my ping skyrocketed and I was kicked out of the server. I’ll probably be back on later tonight. 11ish or so I think.

Actually, he’s in England I think. ED, some of us do play way into the night (on this side of the pond) so you might see a few of us 
the 3 flawless cube recipe only works on weapons, and has a max ilvl of 30. (It also sockets the weapon). For cubing charms (or any other magical item), you want 3 perfects. Also, the ilvl of the item isn’t changed by the recipe, so you want to use charms dropped in hell difficulty (i use exclusivly baal run drops).
I’ll try and stop in tonight, I didn’t know you folks had started playing already. I was busy leveling my paladin last night, along with one or two clone kills. Maybe i’ll start my sorceress tonight though, if you folks are around.
My USWest pally is up to about lvl 20 or 21.
At the moment, I’m only able to play on weekends at the crack of dawn: like 5-7 AM (which is probably why nobody’s seen me for a while)
Work doomage has prevented me from getting on much lately. That and my sorc seems to have hit a wall. My plan to have a sorc that could do ok soloing in hell worked for the most part, but she’s a little weak in multi.
I’ve started a necro that’s about level 17 right now. I only get to play for little bits here and there, usually early morning. Hopefully after I give my final training session tonight I’ll be able to get on more regularly.
Scotland, but otherwise correct. I’d have to meet by appointment, though - I can’t go cruising around in the hope you’ll be there.
That reminds me: Let me know when your javazon hits level 42. Oh, and make sure that she has 25 strength and 109 dexterity at that point, too.

It may be tough hitting 109 Dex by 42, but I’m trying. She’s level 37 now with 91 dex (I’m skimping on strength and vit for the moment, 70 and 80-something). My equipment sucks but that’s to be expected as she’s only wearing what she can find or buy from Larzik. Hopefully, I’ll start finding plus to skill equipment when I head into nightmare, but I’m only doing normal Baal runs for the moment.
I just bought the game this week. I’ve never been much into online play, so I’ve been playing single-player. I really only have one problem with the game, which is otherwise an excellent expansion on the look and feel of the first Diablo.
The complaint is being forced to “Save and Exit”. I don’t WANT to exit. I want to save and continue playing. When I save & exit and then reactivate my game, I end up back at the Rogue’s Camp (I’m still on Act I, but really close to the end) and then I have to fight my way back from the waypoint to where I saved because all of the monsters respawn when I reactivate. I hate that. I can’t save before I go down the stairs to Jail Level 3, even though it would be prudent to do so, because then I have to fight my way from WAY off on the eastern edge of Jail Level 1 back to the stairs down to 2, then back to the stairs down to 3.
Yeah, it’s a whine.

If things go like I expect, unless youse guys are on early Saturday or Sunday mornings for the next two weeks or so, I’ll prob’ly be hard to catch up with (maybe a half-hour here or there)–but things should return to normal by (at lastest) mid-April).

Unfortunately, I’m in Mountain time zone, so I’m an hour ahead of you and I gotta get up at 3:30-4:00 AM for work! And, (more’s the pity) my days of staying up 'till 1 or 2 am gaming, catching an hour’s sleep and then going to school or work are loooong over! I’ll catch up with you eventually though.
I know I’m to blame for not playing regularly, too, but how did the East, which boasted at least a half-dozen regular players, fall off the face of the Earth in the last month?
When I was playing, I’d see MDSL on occasion, but we never really had the same playing schedule in the first place. Fenris had some work issues, punha had internet issues, voltaire tended to play late nights more often then not, I didn’t see you when I was on, and mostly anyone else was a part time player.
I still have all of my East characters and don’t plan on deserting the East, I just got tired of playing alone. I could play in open games, but after you reach a certain character level you’re just looking for something to do and Baal run after Baal run just doesn’t cut it.
Sorry, I know I shouldn’t go “Oops! Shoulda previewed!” but putting then instead of than really bugs me.
I would be happy to go back to East, I like having some resources available and not having to search the earth for every little thing from Crushflange to GoldSkin when I am making a character.
Problem is, I never see anyone there and I just bought Final Fantasy X and it is pretty good, so I’ve been playing that. Ok, I can’t blame that game on my absence. I have also been playing a lot of C&C Generals: Zero Hour and M:tG. I can only have so many hobbies!
Geeze! Come all the way to West and STILL can’t find anyone…
The zon’s coming along nicely. Up to level 53 and in Act4 NM now. Her equipment is still pretty bad and she has negative resists, but I have a decent +1 Jav skill javalin and a +2 jav skill throwing spear. Nothing to write home about, but servicable.
