More singers compete and a few more finalists will be picked this week.
But…tonight’s ep. runs into the LOST time slot, so I will miss the last half hour unless I get off my lazy arse and tape it. Or maybe I’ll just rely on you folks to fill in my blanks.
That’s pretty much what I do for results show. There’s so much filler that I can just pop into one of these threads and find out what I want in thirty seconds.

His performance of Georgia on my Mind during Hollywood week was better. Not great, but much more acceptable.

Did the rest of you get the commercial for a Dunkin Donuts “sandwich” made with meat, egg, cheese (I think) – and put between two waffles? That food is so disgusting it almost makes Matt’s singing look tolerable.

Everyone is horrible so far, sucking,sucking sucking. I wonder if there’s something wrong with the monitor system------it’s easy to screw up when you can’t hear yourself properly
With Nick/Normund (looks like he’s actually going to sing as Nick tonight), at least we’re likely to be entertained. Which is more than can be said for the first three, who were all uniformly horrible and uninteresting.

This is amazing. Seriously, to get on Idol and have a chance to play it straight, but be willing to toss it away for comedic effect. Really it is pretty daring, because if he wasn’t actually funny it would be terribly cringeworthy.

His absolute absurdity is exactly what this show needs. When he’s caressing the American Idol logo, singing “You’re gonna love me,” it’s pure entertainment.
