I don’t remember Melissa at all. Why is she singing a song that doesn’t have words, just screeching? Yuck. If Paula is right and this is her “shining moment,” then her life sucks.

Is it just me or was Lisa off-key most of the song? I was surprised nobody mentioned it. Otherwise, I did think she was one of the best. The voice & performance were great, just that key thing threw me.

Oh! Oleta Adams! I looooooooooooove this song. I don’t remember this Kinnik person, but I like her (and her outfit, incidentally). She’s quite pretty. She’s the one girl tonight whose straight hair is “doing” it for me. Liking her a really lot.
Kinnik (I think?) is good, but all these heavy, constricted (I don’t quite know how to explain this) voices make me feel weary, which is why Lisa sounded so damn good.
I like her voice, but I don’t think she has a chance. She did struggle in the middle.
