Siobhan is definitely the best singer in the competition, but this wasn’t her best performance by a long shot. Best vocals of the night, but that’s not saying much. She at least keeps me interested, even if this was more miss than hit.

I didn’t like Shiv that much. She really sounded like a car commercial until the scream. And then she went back to car commercial mode. It was freaky and funny. Certainly the most entertaining I’ve seen so far tonight.

Siobhan… Not sure if that worked for me. Loved the opening but when time came to drop the hammer, well I was underwhelmed. That may have been lack of balls on the band’s part or the mix. She made up for it with some real vocal ability at the end. She can really sing. Winner so far, by a mile IMHO. Looked fantastic as well… I love her.
Shiv was alright, then the scream was kinda scary, and the squint was cute.
I’d like Lee better with out the orchestrated bit.
I’ve never really liked Lee before, but they keep slobbering his knob. This is the most I’ve ever liked him, so I’m sure the judges will pan it. Still boring, and I don’t think anyone is convinced to make love to him after that, but it wasn’t a bad vocal.

Lee Gokey, um, Danny Dewyze, ahhh, whatever, he was solid. Seems like he has the kind of voice that will serve him well every week if he doesn’t try to go outside it and sing “Dream On”, for example.

WTF happened to the band this season? I thought they were reasonably good last year. I don’t think it was because of the better contestants, because I would have said things like, “Adam killed that, but the band sucked bad.” and I didn’t.
Paige sang that fairly well, but it’s annoying that she changed the lyrics like that.
This song is how I kinda hoped Haeley would sound.
Apparently Paige tweeted earlier today that she had almost completely lost her voice, wasn’t really able to sing the whole song in dress rehearsals, and was just sort of drinking lots of tea and hoping she got it back. Sure sounds like she did! This is actually one of the better performances of the night. Say what you will about Paige, she’s rarely boring.
