Bar Ba Sol? Like the shave cream? What’s that about?
Maybe it only shows up in HD, but my wife and I both commented on how much makeup he was wearing. Concealer, eyeliner, lipgloss… go back and check again.
“Bar-Ba-Sol” is one of my favourite songs on his album, too - “I feel sick, I feel nervous, I know just what I did to deserve this…” - now THAT’S a rock lyric. It’s a very funky little rock song. I can see “Come Back To Me” being more AI-friendly, though.
My call on the saves - they won’t use it for anyone except for Gokey, Adam, and Allison. Everyone else is on their own.
(And now Gokey will become a word used for cat puke in my household, too - “Ewww! The cat gokeyed in here again!”)
To be somewhat fair (and I didn’t notice Adam’s makeup, or lack thereof), everyone on that stage has to wear a rather large amount of makeup. It keeps the lights from totally washing them out. On top of that, HD has thrown the Hollywood makeup community for something of a loop, because it is impossible to properly apply for both SD & HD. As a result, the latter really gives the viewer a good shot at how much goop these folks have on.
