Sweet Zombie Jesus. Is this a race to see who can suck the most?
Kellie was just terrible. Bad song choice sung poorly. Man am I sick of her schtick.
And Ace. This was his “rock edge?” He managed to remove what little edge that song had originally.
Simon is exactly right. You can see that at any karaoke bar on any weeknight. I’m glad these people are getting called on their suckiness tonight.
I was about to throw up when he sang “hair” and then touched his hair ! But I thought he sucked a little less than the other two. So far a pretty weak start, though.
Taylor Hicks scares me. Although I can tell they’ve picked up good clothes for him and improved his hair.
He still scares me…
I don’t know the song he’s singing…
This is a great song. And a really good choice for Taylor. Hope he blows it out.
I love Taylor. I’ve never heard this song before and yet I’m loving this performance. God, he’s a wonderful performer.
Never heard the song before, but I liked it a lot and liked the performance.
Never heard the song he’s singing, but he’s doing well with it.
The way the show has been so far, he could come out and sing Crazy Frog and still not be in the bottom three.
meh. Kind of disappointing. He didn’t really bring any energy to it.

Decent song choice; solid performance; nothing spectacular.
Holy cow! Pauler is making sense to me. Am I drunk?
Back to normal… the judges disagreeing.
I’m still scared of him…
I take it that Simon doesn’t like Clay Aiken?

“Tonight I’m going to sing a song that’s never been done on ‘American Idol’ before” … what, like “Idol” is so old that it was born in the manger next to Jesus or something? Have all these people been sniffing glue? Or have they gotten brain damaged from having their pancake makeup baked under Kleig lights? What is the world coming to? WHO WILL THINK OF THE CHILDREN?
The original version of “Trouble” really kicks ass. Taylor did ok with it but nothing special.
No gospel! Sing Mary, Mary Why You Buggin’!
Mandisa is back to her gospel roots…
Is it just me, or do I think she’s lost weight since the competition started?
I like it…
What is this screamy crap that Mandisa is singing?

I was actually looking forward to hear Mandisa sing some old-fashion gospel, but I didn’t really like that song. Just okay.
Mandisa was ass. Loud does not equal good.
Huh. Kind of a flat night all around. She did okay, but it just didn’t punch.
