Gahh…I just checked to see what was going on and there was some middle aged fat guy with a spike hairdo yodelling some godawful country song. I had to switch back to Keith Olbermann.
I haven’t really been watching but I clicked it on in time to see Carrie Underwood’s glurgey video. “Let’s get a close up of the little black baby’s tears! That’ll get 'em.”
Saw Jack Black, = he actually isn’t too bad a singer. I thought Sanjaya’s reaction seemed overdone, though. You’re a good sport, we get it, don’t overdo it.
So much talent and yet…it’s falling flat.
Still, I gave $20. I’m a sucker for poor kids. And I like the thought behind helping people who are desperately poor it even if I think the fundraiser is too long and too schmaltzy.

Jordin would be extremely shocking*. Lakisha might be considered shocking because she once seemed to have a lot more potential. Chris would be shocking to me, only because I actually want him to go home and I never get what I want.

My mom informed me that they are Rascal Flatts. I think they covered “Life is a Highway” for Cars. She’s compared Chris R’s nasal “style” to this band in the past, but I don’t see it.
