swoon!!
I hate “In The Ghetto” But I LOVE Taylor’s version.
Taylor did much better with this song. It’s nice to hear him sing without the spastic dancing.
Not feeling too well and typing is too much trouble. But I feel like I’m letting my friends down by not commenting.
P.S. I hate everybody today. Everybody sucks. They should be making me feel better and yet I still feel like shit on a stick.
Taylor … the hell? I know this song, and I hardly recognize it. I don’t like this arrangement one teensy bit. It’s very Marc Cohn, and not in a good way, either. Gaaaah. Not that “In the Ghetto” is one of Elvis’s best songs anyway, but ewww.
I missed the first half of the program, how was it?
I can say I give props to Taylor for singing “In the Ghetto”… That’s the one I said in the previous thread I’d be psyched if someone sang it. But the chrous was not as high pitched as I expected…
He still creeps me, especially with his movements. And he can stop saying “Soul patrol”.
I’ll satisfy Chris…
Diogenes, sadly, Taylor didn’t sing it in Cartman’s voice, that would have been hilarious!
I didn’t particularly like Chris’s performance that much.
I thought that was a little listless and humorless for Chris. It’s weird but I felt his performance was kind of overshadowed by JPL.
Oooooh … Chris did my #1 and #3 all-time favorite Elvis songs (in order). His diction on “A Little Conversation” is impeccable. Good on him. Not a great performance, but not terrible – I like to think he is saving something for next week, and hopefully the week after.
Since these spoilers are turning out to be right on, I am a little disappointed that nobody is singing my #2 favorite Elvis song (which is actually sometimes my #1 favorite, depending on my mood at the time): “It’s Now or Never.” It would have been a good choice for Elliott.
Jet Propulsion Labratory?
Yes, I do know how to spell laboratory.
Underwhelmed by Taylor. Just didn’t care for the second song at all.
Chris was amazing right up until his weird ending.
Jon Peter Lewis, the “pen salesman” from Season 3.
All of Elliott’s songs sound the same. And once again, I just don’t care to hear anymore.
Awwww poor Biggirl. I hope you get all the motrin, chicken soup and chocolate ice cream you need to feel better soon, we’ll need you here tomorrow!
Elliot did metric assloads better with song 2.
I think Gomer sounded good.

Thanks. This is my first Idol season, so I don’t get most of the references to previous contestants.

All of Elliott’s songs sound the same. And once again, I just don’t care to hear anymore.
And, furthermore, there is not a rebellious bone in his body.
I also think the judges need to have their hearing checked… best performance? PUH-LEEZE!
BTW, I like whoever dressed up Elliot tonight, he looks better than other occasions.
