It’s for the best, really. The finale of “Idol” will air while I’m on vacation, and now I don’t have to worry about TiVo-ing it. I can just be drunk and carefree and not give a flying crap … which, I probably wouldn’t have anyway, but now I don’t have to feel guilty about now being able to vote for my favorite, you know? Since he’s already gone.
