I assume they’re just about done with the audition shows, but here is another one tonight.
Are you in?

Are you in?
Always!
Oh, yes…I knew there was some reason today couldn’t totally suck.
Like Flynn.
Bumparoo!
Yup, we’ll be watching. Dan’s brother and his wife were at those auditions, so we’ll be watching for them in the crowd scenes. (Which will mark the first time I don’t fast forward through the crowd scenes. I’ll still fast forward through all the biographical background stories and the interviews, though.)
Well, glass guy was mediocre, although I can’t tell what they were talking about when they said he did weird things with his eyes. All I saw was a lot of blinking.
Well, he made up in volume what he lacked in talent.
What’s this girl’s sob story? I wasn’t paying attention.
Dead father.
Here. Dead-Dad gal is the best so far I think.
I felt sorry for “music major” guy. He probably wouldn’t have made it through no matter what but the song was a bad choice.
Not just dead father. Father died in a car crash while she was on her way to the audition. Her brother called her while she waited to tell her her dad died.
I couldn’t have done it.
I hate it when contestants milk personal tragedy in front of the judges. There was a contestant earlier (maybe single mom with sick kid?) who made it a point to not mention it to the judges at all when they asked her, and my respect for her went up because of it.
Dead Dad girl was good, but I’ll remember her dead dad and not her singing, I think.
Pageant Girl = Barf Smiley
And that was before she sang. Dammit they’re gonna send her through.
God, yet another fucking Underwood. Jesus, take the wheel and drive this bitch into a tree.
Well, at least it’s actually a tragedy. That does seem rough.
Ugh, blonde Miss South Florida or whatever is annoying.
Maybe if Pagent Girl wasn’t so pretend dumb, she’d be less annoying.
But, but, it worked so well for Pickler!
Ever notice how people who say they “have it all” never have much of anything?
LOVE Alex’s look, and the grandma too. Freakin’ adorable.
