Haha… I walked into the room while my wife was watching this just in time to catch the Hall & Oates thing.
I told her I had the picture in my head of them tomorrow, watching their iTunes sales counter in quiet anticipation, just waiting for a new generation of American youth to discover “Man-Eater”.
Thankfully the cable gods heard me and the station is back, but then again…
They have so many in the top ten that are just so bad at the whole “group dance and sing” thing. So bad.

Ok, now I fully appreciate the cable gods. That was worth the whole two hours. Except the sound engineers on this show really suck.
I was kind of disappointed that they cut short the bit with the gimmicky characters (Tatiana, the Asian guy dressed like a pimp, the girls with red tank top and belly flab, etc.).
I kinda lost interest this year once Shiv got the boot but I must say I’ve enjoyed this finale.

The best they could do for a Lee duet was Chicago? Wow.
You know, two years ago me and the hubby saw Earth, Wind & Fire/Chicago at Jones Beach and I was shocked at how old everybody in the audience was. And to think, the performers were older than they were.
Not me, though. Uh, uh.
Lemme also add, it’s a good thing when black guys start losing their hair, they have the option of shaving it all off. I’d have to kill my husband if he sported the ponytail on the bottom-nothing on top look.
