Wow…anybody who DVR’d the show is gonna be pissed. We were behind, but since we fast forwarded through commercials we caught up just as it approached 10:00. Damn good thing, since the winner wasn’t announced until 10:03.
Well, congratulations to Jordin. Blake seemed pretty unruffled about it. I get the feeling he’s just amazed to have even gotten this far, is having a blast and had nothing emotionally invested in winning. He looked genuinely happy for Jordin.

I’m so pissed about that DVR thing too. I switched over to Lost (awesome, btw), checked in to see that Jordin won, but didn’t see the announcement or anything, just the aftermath and it didn’t record. Curses! :mad: :mad: :mad: I did just watch that Sgt. Pepper mess though. Very, um, psychedelic.
Overall, boring season. I agree with the outcome, such as it is, but will never buy an album by Jordin or Blake. Maybe Melinda, if she does real music and not the usual glurge that makes up most of the Idol universe.
