An a apology

I wish to apologize for this thread.

Yesterday, I had my family visiting me and my 13 year old brother who happens to enjoy pranking people was on my laptop. He told me he wanted to check imgur and I was more than happy to lend him my laptop.
I had my straight dope account open and he created the thread. I found out last night while checking my email. Currently he is grounded and in a few hours I will speak to him about his actions. I have no idea why he did this and I am upset at him.
Once again, I was foolish to leave my account open and I am truly deeply sorry.

Sorry, but I don’t see how it’s credible to assert that was the work of a 13-year-old (given all the things that a 13-yo might write about, I mean). It also doesn’t make a ton of sense to post an apology. It’d seem an apology is in order for THIS thread.

As far as pranks go, that was pretty lame. I hope part of his punishment will be attributed to his poor excuse for a joke.

How do you feel about sheep?

you’re a baaaaaad man!

Understand your upset with him. You should be. But it could have be worse. Far worse.

How do we know this is you?

Well when you think about it, how do we know anyone who posts here is whoever they claim to be, at any given time?

I wanted to apologize about the Brando thread, but its closed. I honestly didn’t remember him passing & when I saw a breaking news article and the year ended with a 4, I posted it quickly.

On the bright side, he’ll never know that I thought he died yesterday.

Just post an apology in that thread and then ask a moderator to close it for you.

I’m dubious about the truthieness of this apology. Some stylistic quirks (the absence of a space after a parenthesis, just for one) remain constant throughout the OP’s posting history.

Not buying the excuse, here.

Maybe it’s a genetic trait shared by the whole family.

Let’s take the apology at face value, shall we?
