I’d love to do the run tonight, but I don’t think I can gain four levels between the time I get off work and the time you want to start a run. I’m up for the next one, though!
I agree, I almost never have the herb tracking up. I might as well drop that. But fishing/cooking/skinning/first aid are perfect matches, and I may take up leather later.

Well then, never play FFXI. You can put in a 40-hour week of fishing before leveling a single point. After that, fishing in WOW is like a sprint. There’s something addicting about chasing pool spawns and fishing up closed crates. I can’t wait until my character is high enough to fish better spots without my getting ganked.
I wonder how high my fishing needs to be before I can do the Sunday fishing competition!
At what level should I move on from the Barrens? Otherwise I could be doing quests there until my 30s.

i tend to go demon spec until i hit outlands and respec to destro for raids. i forgot to hit the dps meter to let people know what we all did … ill try to remembe rnext time=)
Mid-20s, probably. I believe Ashenvale is 20-30 and 1000 Needles is 30-40.

The An’Qiraj War Effort is still going on because it’s a new server. They’re going to collect all that stuff, then at some point someone will be able to open the Gates of An’Qiraj, a HUGE instance in Silithus in the southwest corner of Kalimdor. It’s a great opportunity to grab other-racial reputation, as you can get commendations for collecting things they need, then trade those commendations in at the racial commendation officer of your choice for rep.
You can tell there are Dopers on Cairne…I tried to name my new Belf Mage “Marianas”…already taken. “Hiyopal”…already taken. “Gotchaya”…already taken. I finally hit paydirt with “Rioduran”…

Okay guys, sorry. I’ll be on this weekend. Some of you may have been on when my router made funny noises and then I DCed right after. You may also have been perplexed that I posted right after. Well you see for some reason my router/modem has been crashing on and off recently, and it seems to happen frequently when I’m in a game like WoW or WCIII, it also happens every morning (or if I’m not there in the morning to see it still there when I get home) I’m not sure what the issue is, but it could be overheating or soemthing. All I know is this router/moden set is anceint (okay a few years but still) so I’m getting it replaced this saturday (tomorrow). Have fun in WC if you go (or backdated good luck if you already went).
squeeee - just bought a second laptop technically for work [am trying to convince them to let me use my new used hp dv9000 as the screen is bigger and it doesnt make that whining noise when it is on ac power…] but as an added attraction, I can play WOW on it, so mrAru and I can both actually play at the same time.
Unfortunately it has serious lag issues because it has the gimpy video card with no memory but adding a second gig of ram helped a bit. Unfortunately it is a vista box which sucks, but at least he will be able to play at the same time.
I created a character on that server for the fun of it, a BElf Hunter, 'cause it’s one combination I’ve never played.
I used the incredibly original name of… Cerowyn. So, now I’m gender confused in WoW, too.
Of course, nobody was answering on the sdmb channel tonight. Can someone take pity on me and invite me to the guild at some point? (i.e. friend me so you know when I’m online) That would be excellent. Thank you.
Okay…I figured out what was wrong with my computer (bad RAM board), and it’s working again. Hopefully for longer than a week…

It looks like we had a number of runs through WC this weekend. Now that we have a number of people level 20-25, I have a bunch of quests for Shadowfang Keep I could use help with…
