An Unlabored MMP

For such pursuits I need more coffee.

I just took Gordie on a 45 minute walk ,to burn off that coffee bean. Now"m making my second pot, and pondering brunch.

frulb!*

*It’s the opposite of “blurf”.

:dubious:

We were going to have breakfast in Leonardtown, but there’s some kind of festival going on and the square is blocked off. Instead, we went to Cracker Barrel, and then to Lowe’s. I’ve got a can of wasp spray - those damned yellow jackets will DIE DIE DIE DIE!!! I just need a non-rainy, cool evening and they’re toast! Little bastards!

On the way home, we swung by the little store and I picked up my check for August sales - a whopping $43 and change! I’ve sold 4 sets of critter crayons - I need to make up some more. The dinosaurs seem to be popular, so yay!

Meanwhile, it’s raining, so I won’t be doing any weeding and seeding. I could crochet, or hem and stencil some tea towels, or melt some crayons… decisions, decisions…

Moooom, if you can’t get rid of the wasps on your own , the bug man should be able to help. When I had some build a nest on my back deck, that’s who apartment management sent.

doggio, hook Gordie up to a treadmill to see how much power he generates. You could have a way around those pesky electric bills. :stuck_out_tongue:

The band was good last night. It was the first time I’d heard them in a 21 and up place. They included some of the bawdier Irish drinking songs that I usually don’t get to hear them play.

I believe this is personal. They must die by her own hands. :dubious:

I made brekkie. We et it up. Then went back to sleep for a bit. Nice, lazy Sattidy! ‘Tis still rainin’ but it looks like the rain will soon be gone. Unless more shows up. Who knows.

MOOOOOOM we can’t go to the cee-mint pond while it’s rainin’. We’ll get our hair all wet!

Howdy StickyBuns!

doggio put some dust rags on Gordie’s paws and let him run around. He expends energy and dusts the place at the same time! Win-Win!

OYKW wants those disgustin’ yet oh so nummy Jimmy’s hotdawgs for N.O.L. If’n he has a desire to drive to downtown Albeeeeny and get 'em. I’m all for it. Otherwise, not so much.

Happy Saturday!

Rainy and cool outside.
Nice sleeping weather, I didn’t wake up until 10am and only then because the of the alarm that tells me when to take my pills.
I hate taking pills. One of the things of youth I miss. I could walk out the door with nothing but a comb and my keys.

Howdy back at you Sticky

Much to do so I need to get busy.

1.2 Gigawatts.

Don’t they come naturally caffeinated anyway?

Trying to get my brain booted up for irk (closing shift today). Spent a lot of yesterday Nyquiled out, which does seem to have helped. Still a bit congested, and was noticing some odd popping/crackling sensations in my sinuses, but feeling a good deal better than I was.

Off to feed my folks’ dog and cats. And pick up burritos for brekkie.

Yay for weekend!

We had a brief respite from the rain, but now it’s coming down again. I’ve been Netflixing and crocheting. Nicely relaxing…

Looks like our rain may be over. Or there will be a round two in a while. The weather PTB are all up in the air about this.

So, the poke loin is marinatin’, the N.O.T. sallit is made, the baked beans are ready to be baked in a little while, and garlic bread is ready to be toasted up. Go Me! Folks should be arrivin’ around fourish for adulterated beverages. We shall have cheese and fancy crackers as a munchie. Sounds all suave, sophisticated, couth, kempt, and shevelled don’t it?

Early supper, since we didn’t have lunch. I found a couple of burgers in the freezer. We’ll probably be starving later, but we were starving now.

Our life is such a challenge.

Who needs a flux capacitor when you have an active dog?

Time to recline and crochet. MWAH!

Houston, we have a problem.

My MiL has been with us since the beginning of June. She had a heart attack after she arrived, and had bypass surgery. The thing is, she’s feeling better, so she’s bored. When she’s bored, we’re all driven crazy. I took the car to get washed last weekend. I had everything arranged in the garage that I had taken out, so I could easily put everything back. Kleenex pack and book lights for the backseat, etc. I got back and she had moved it all. My daughter wants to lock her room, so her grandmother can’t go in and re-arrange/lose things.

And now…

I just commenced reclinage and noticed that she’s using yarn from my current afghan project to crochet something.

Time for her to go home…

Know what’s nice? Havin’ company over. Know what’s just as nice? Havin’ company leave. We happy houred and supped. We had good conversation and lots o’ laughs. Now we chill. Dishwasher is doin’ it’s thing. All is well.

At first I think I read this wrong; I think. Now I’m not totally sure. I have some odd friends with even odder parents.

It’s been raining cats and dogs around here since last night; one of those slow steady ones that keep coming hour after hour that farmers love. In the Spring. Not so much around harvest.

I just [del]poued boiling oil and lava on[/del]Bbathed Gordie. And since it’s dark ,cool, and about to rain, I’m having a Highlands Mocha Stout.

Yep. Normally 59lbs 8ish year old senior dogs do not have this level of energy. I may just adopt a sloth after this.

Ruble, lots of people like Chinese food*

Sunny, sounds like it. Or you could do what my parents did, send me on a trip and move out of state.

*No cats were harmed in the taking of this photo ,nor did they even regain conciousness.
