pulls rocking chair out to porch
Back in my day we didn’t get out of school unless it was over 95 American! My elementary school didn’t have air conditioning (and neither did my house)! Get off my lawn!
I went to the farmer’s market to see if there were any good apples there. Nope. So I came home and started on the laundry. And I cleaned the bathroom. And vacuumed. I can has being productive!
I’ve gotten spoiled living so close to God’s Waiting Room where the apple orchards are. There are non-grocery-store varieties at the farmer’s market every fall and I go through half-pecks like they’re going out of style. All I saw today were honeycrisps, which are a store brand and therefore not special.
sari, you’re not married to nor did you give birth to your financially challenged friend. You made him a pretty generous offer for a ride. Don’t sweat it.

It’s starting off to be a good week/month. I just hope it stays that way.
I really like Jersey Mac apples, but they’re only in season for a short amount of time each year, and they can be difficult to find even when they’re around.
Back - my car’s computer has been updated and Hyundai tried to sell me other services. I’m going to have a look at my receipts from my car guy to see what we need done and get prices from them to compare.
While waiting, I got a call from CVS that my meds were ready to be picked up, so I did that on the way home. I also got a call from the septic tank cleaners - they’ll be coming tomorrow. So I guess trash and recycling will wait till Thursday. What a busy week!
Fish for supper - gonna go pull a coupla hunks outta the freezer right now!
It’s gonna be a hot one today. At least the nights are cool.
I got a good nights sleep and managed to pull my head from my ass and stop feeling sorry for him. He’s going down and I can’t let him take me with him. Well that’s a lie I still do feel sorry for him in that he - well is long story.
**FCM ** - why in the world would I ever yell at you?
I think of all of you in this thread as friends - the outside threads - not so much.
Well I did a little apple research and there are over 7500 varieties  There is no chance I will ever try them all. The new Envy I tried was pretty good but I still like the Ambrosia and Honeycrisp better.
Howdy Y’all! Irk has been survived. I just put the enchilada casserole (OLÈ!) in the oven. In forty-five minutes we shall have a fiesta in da oso de las cavernas. There will be shredded lettuce, diced maters, black olives, sour cream, and guacamole as toppers. Muy Nummo!
I sat down in front of TV to crochet, and I fell asleep! **FCD **woke me up when he came home. But the laundry is in and put away, and I’ve got the tuna steaks marinating. Supper will be yum! Provided I can stay awake…
Dindin was muy bueno. MOOOOOOM I was one course short of a minor in Spanish in undergrad. Impressive ain’t it!
[Emily Litella} Why are some of you advocatin’ more violins. Do we not have enough violins in the world already! We do not need more violins! If anything we need less violins! A lot less violins! [/Emily Litella]
**Nettie **- unless he was referring to the fiesta in his tummy!
Supper was yum. It was also slightly delayed - I got an email from my future employer including a lot of stuff to fill out. You’d think they’d have a program that would fill in repeated info. But it’s done, so there’s that.
With luck, they’ll let **FCD **bring home the offer package tomorrow when it’s ready. I’ve got the septic tank guy coming tomorrow afternoon and I don’t know how long he’ll take. I’ll be able to take it back on Thurs and that’ll bring me one step closer. I’ve also got to do a drug test. Then that should be it.
Meanwhile, the rest of tonight will be chillage. I’s tahred.
