mmmmmmms and Mr mmmmmmms and family - I am so sorry for your loss. Knowing that it was coming, and knowing his mother is at peace now doesn’t make it any easier to deal with. You are all in my thoughts.
gt and FABF, thinking of you too, it must have been a tremendous shock for everyone.
In other news, my germs have finally got the hint and are starting to pack up their things ready to leave. Just as well because I’m almost out of medication. I’m still feeling a bit rough but better than the beginning of the week so that’s all good.
I’m aiming for a relatively quiet week though, I am worn out by the time I get back from irk and early nights are looking very attractive just now.
And sorry gt. That’s too young. My young niece just had her best friend in the world, someone she’d given thoughts of marriage to, pass away after being struck by a car out in CA. The emotions she’s dealing with now will have an influence on her for the rest of her life. Much as I’d like to bear the suffering for her, it just don’t work that way.
Ima go spend some time helpin’ out with an energy assistance program for the elderly and disabled. Help is needed with takin’ applications and eligibility. It’ll be different. Then again, I likes doin’ different stuff. Same place I irk btw, just different stuff.
I’m so sorry, mmmmmmmmm. And I’m sorry for you and FABF, gt. I lost my sister and my mother about a year and a half apart, so I know how devastating it can be.
Sorry you had such a rough day, shortdrum.
I say call her on it, too, stix.
I want some liverwurst! With onion and mustard. Yum! Instead I have yogurt.
Ok, I just finished reading one of the two chapters that I need to read for this evening. The sun is peeking out from behind the clouds now and again so I think I’ll take advantage of that fact and take pictures of some more rings to put on Etsy.
Posted some pics on my FB of the snow. I took the first set at 6:30 this morning and then posted another album just a little bit ago. I’ve got eight inches at the top of my driveway. The drift behind my son’s car is over 12 inches. It buried the ruler.
I should have taken pics of the backyard. The retaining wall out there is buried up to the second brick. These are very large bricks.
I have a friend that lives further southeast of me. He and his wife got eleven inches. They’re kind of out in the boonies.
{{{{{{{{Mmmms&mrmmmms&family}}}}}}}}}; you’re all in my thoughts and prayers, so sorry. Also keeping GT&FABF&Family in my prayers.
Glad to hear that you’re hanging in there, LiLi; hope that everything comes together for you, especially with the help. Thinking of the Lissar family and keeping you all in my thoughts.
I saw the Seattle scenes this AM on Today, Taters - glad that they called off work for you and your hubby today. People shouldn’t be out in stuff like that, trying to get to work and such! But Polar should enjoy it later on, right?
Hope everyone is enjoying their hump day and staying warm and dry.
Seattle didn’t get nearly as much as we did. Olympia got even more. Crazy amounts of snow. Some areas further south of Olympia were creeping up to two feet! That’s just insane.
Memorial service is Saturday with family only cremation next week. No one is allowed to wear black on Saturday it will be a celebration and the church will be packed. Everyone is holding up well and thankyou so much for the thought and prayers we really appreciate it.
Glad everyone is holdin’ up well mmmmmm’s. I’ll say a prayer for her.
Speakin’ of sayin’ prayers, I am not headed over to Evening Prayer at the church house tonight. I figure I should keep whatever germs I have to myself this evenin’. Plus with my stuffy haid I don’t feel like drivin’, especially at night. I talked to OYKW and told him to stay away. He just got over the crud and does not need whatever this is. He definitely had flu or sump’n along the lines of flu. I don’t feel flu like but I do have a bit of a fever.
So, a hot soak in the tub and some knock out cold medicine is in store for me tonight.
