Another free day off for me. All the snow we got yesterday now has a solid coat of ice on it due to the freezing rain which has been falling. Nothing ever melted and the roads are bad. There are accidents all over the place.
Our command made the sane decision to have only mission essential people report in and all outpatient appointments were cancelled. Hopefully, by tomorrow, we’ll be back to rain and “normal” driving conditions.
So we are looking at six fresh inches of snow during the (school) day tomorrow. Yay.
Can’t the snow limit itself to between Friday evenings and Sunday mornings?
Howdy Y’all! Thanks for all the get wells. Seems to be workin’. My haid is a lot less stuffded up today.
CatDude of course the snow must fall durin’ skooltime. How else you gonna get any stress in your life? 
Tomorrow I have a blood pressure monitoring thing and a non-stress test for the babies at the hospital. On the bright side, my parents are taking the kids for the day, so I can come home and sleep after.
Bother. My doctor just phoned me back to say that there are no services available to do any kind of house calls after we get back from the birth- I have to take both babies to my doctor’s clinic, a few days after having my third c-section. I will not be allowed to lift both the babies at the same time, let alone their baby carseats, and the wait at my doctor’s is usually an hour.
This will be fun.
My second class got cancelled tonight so I’ve been here at home catching up on some work.
I’m thinking about going to bed early, too. So glad that tomorrow is Friday!

Long day at work. Everyone who could do something stupid did. Probably including me. 
Read, but retained close to zero. Made waffles for dinner because they sounded good. I was right.
This has been an awfully long week. Also glad tomorrow is Firday.

On the plus side, haid cold seems to be better. Maybe Ima get over it in the next day or two.
LiLi seems to me there’d be some kind of home visit possibility for the first couple of checkups especially with twins. Hope you got some good rest yesterday.
Now I shall seek more caffiene and brekkie. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. Speakin’ of irk, this energy assistance stuff is at least more innerestin’ than I thought it’d be. So there’s that.

We’re supposed to get a bunch of snow tonight. I’m debating on which car to take when I head out for the afternoon. Not sure if I should tough it out in my van or take the 4x4 (with the deplorable gas mileage) instead.

TGI Firday. Except we are under a winter strom watch for 4-8 inches (that’s what she said) of snow. The wimpy suburban schools are getting out early, but the Chicago public will soldier on. Since I live in the wimpy ‘burbs, I may cut out of work before quittin’ time.
Fuds dilemma: chicken noodle soup in the cafeteria today, but I was planning on onion soup for din-din. Can one have soup twice in the same day?
The Soup Nazi isn’t here, so have soup twice. If it bothers you, have a grilled cheese with the dinner soup.
